The Wave that is coming!
In this 21st episode of the Futuring Lab, I wanted to develop a bit more on the event I have recently been to: ChangeNOW in Paris. An event aimed at pulling together the people working on creating a better future for all. It’s the second year I have been to this event and I left again with such an expended perception of the world, a renewed energy and sense of community, that I wanted to share it with you!In this episode I share and explore with examples, the three major shifts that I have noticed in this conference:The shift in narrative: The emerging future is more fun, more sexy, more resilient than the current (extractive) world we live in.The shift in Power narrative: from Power over to Power With. The shift in more traditional sectors (like finance): Their evolution is real and well, well considered on leading the way. Too often these amazing people, solutions and shifts are too hard to find, and to acknowledge, so instead, I am bringing some of their wisdom to your ears.I hope you enjoy this episode and leave as energised and with a renewed will to act, as I have! And please let me know your questions, thoughts or perceptions on either the event or my take on it. I’d love to connect! An Essence-ial Gift
Since I have recorded these wonderful Business Potential episodes with Ebru Kaya and André Stürmer, I have been thinking deeply about a core concept that shines through everything they talk about. Our Essence.Asking myself a lot of questions such as:What is an Essence? What is my Essence? What is the purpose of an Essence? Is it really important? And, after a few weeks, I got some answers. I found these answers on a deep and vulnerable journey I have been on with myself. Through this journey, I have uncovered some wonderful insights and gifts beyond my wildest hope. Now, I am sharing these insights and gifts with you, in the I hope that they will give you support and maybe a touch of courage (if you feel you need it), to go and uncover your own beautiful gifts.Have a great listen, my friends,I’d love to hear your reflections on this topic, either on socials or directly on the podcast platform. And if you enjoyed this episode, subscribe to the show !And visit my newsletter, as you will probably enjoy it too:You can subscribe here. Finally, if you want to connect, human to human ☺️, or get support on your own inner journey, reach out!! The Cost of our Certainty
As we are living in an increasingly uncertain and volatile world, many of us are looking for more certainty than ever before.More control, more prediction, more overthinking…About ourselves, our work, climate change, global inequality, AI etc.A bit like an addiction really. But like with any addiction, it comes at a cost.A cost that is rarely talked about, looked at or consciously comes into our decision making, as we spend most of our time and life pursuing Certainty. And so we spend most of our time and life pursuing Certainty.- In this episode I explore the hidden costs of Certainty on our individual and collective lives and Future.- I also give us some prompts on other approaches that we could also nurture: like Curiosity, Care or Patience. In the hope that we slowly move away rebalance Certainty with Resilience. I hope you enjoy listening to it and I’d love to hear your reflections on this topic. If you do, subscribe to the show !And visit my newsletter, as you will probably enjoy it too:You can subscribe here.If you want to connect, human to human ☺️, reach out!! Business Potential - Part 2
“If there was a path, that is not your path. That is somebody else’s path.” Ebru KayaWelcome to the second part of “Business Potential”, with Ebru Kaya and André Stürmer, the founders of Atreyu and RIA.In this second part we dive into the Personal Potential. In other words, the inner journey that was key to bringing forth the organisations they have created. We explored the (re)sources Ebru and André leaned on when they felt lost, as well as, when they felt truly on their path. Renewable (re)sources like:Deep care, Contemplation, Letting go of fears, Not seeking to see the path ahead, Connection and community. This episode is so full of treasures that I am not going to even try to list them all.Whether you are clear on the path you are walking or feeling totally lost, the authenticity and care emanating from Ebru and Andre will warm your soul, heal your heart and open your mind. Some references that we discussed during the podcast:01:04:00 short clip of David Whyte01:19:14 The TRP The Regenerative Practicioner01:19:25 Regenerative Leadership, by Laura Storm01:30:00 2days event RIA link01:32:00 add brochure to program Atreyu and Ria links

Navigating complexity
In this week’s episode, we touch on something that we are all trying to navigate everyday: Complexity.Although it sounds like navigating complexity should be complicated, it doesn’t have to be. It can be simple. The way Nature is.Unfortunately in our day to day life, many of us feel that we are battling with this complexity of dealing with so many things at the same time…and it comes at a cost.Let’s explore the spectrum of complexity, its link with our capacity to care, reciprocate and to evolve. Beyond merely coping with life. Through reflections and guidance, this episode is aimed at helping you navigate your own life complexity with more flow and clarity.I hope you enjoy it!!If you do, subscribe to the show and visit my newsletter, as you will probably enjoy it too!You can subscribe here.If you want to connect, human to human ☺️, reach out!! Fast Food Answers
“Our complex problems don’t deserve fast food answers.”And I am not talking literally about fast food here.“Fast food answers are short term pleasure, short term benefits and long term problems.”In today’s episode, we are questioning a very important base of our daily life and western culture: Our insatiable search for answers. In a world overloaded with answers, do we really need more of them? What I call Fast Food answers. Or do we need to let go of this restless quest, for the benefit of the quality of the answers! Mindfully enjoying the process, and the more beautiful Future that will unfold when we ask more questions instead.I hope you will enjoy, question things and benefit from this episode! And I hope you will have questions for me ☺️Let’s future together! If you enjoyed this episode, you will likely enjoy my newsletter too.You can subscribe here. And don't forget to subscribe to the show, and to share it further! If you want to connect, human to human ☺️, reach out!! Thriving through Transitions
In this week's episode I thought I would touch on a topic that I see myself and many people around me struggle with. The current painful transition in our lives, in our world and in Nature. This pull from Nature to slow down, whilst society is pushing us to speed up again. This creates a deep dissonance inside of us which is very hard to manage. And generally that we don’t manage but feel at the effect of.In this episode I help you understand:- What is happening, why it’s hard, - How to manage the dissonance intentionally, compassionately and positively,- And I also share powerful tools, that I use for myself and my clients, to support you through the transition.I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments or questions about! Controlled Burns
In this 5th episode, we turn to Nature to learn from her wisdom.Inspired by how she keeps her resilience and balance through Controlled Burns, so can we!Applied to our lives, Controlled Burns are a necessary process to let go of what is not serving us anymore, and to make space for what could be instead. In this episode, we:- Learn to recognise what you do that is actually not serving you, and why- Learn how to fuel what you love instead of what you fear- Learn about replacing external validation by internal validation, through my personal journey- and go through a step by step guide to practicing controlled burns in your own life.I hope this concept will prove as useful to you as it is to me.I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments or questions about! Loving yourself.Gently moving away from pleasing others and finding trust in others more than in yourself.I share with you some of my experience, my daughter’s beautiful view on it (the best part) and some questions that you can start asking yourself to revive that trust-muscle of yours.I hope you will enjoy it!If you did, you will likely enjoy my newsletter too.You can subscribe here. And don't forget to subscribe to the show, and share it further! If you want to connect, human to human ☺️, reach out!!On LinkedInOr directly via email

Who for?Our longings are quietly waiting within each of us!But the problem is, they are often overshadowed by our loud "have to, must to, shoulds".So listen up to make more space for your longings, for actively creating your future everyday, whilst gradually turning down the volume of your 'to dos' . 🥳I hope you enjoy this episode!
