    This week we're chatting to the winners of the 2024 GAIN Investment Challenge - The Abbey School in Reading! So, what is the GAIN Investment Challenge?The GAIN Investment Challenge is an annual stock pitch competition for girls and non-binary students in England. Working in teams, students attend 6 weekly sessions throughout the Spring term where they learn how to analyse a company and decide if they would invest or sell the stock. They learn from industry experts and are supported by professional investment mentors to help make an educated decision. At the end of the challenge students submit a 5 minutes long stock pitch video and written research report which is then reviewed by our panel of industry judges.About 2024's winning teamThis year’s winning team were from The Abbey School in Reading.This team were 1 of 108 teams taking part in the challenge this year, from schools all across England. Made up of year 11 & year 12 students, the team analysed M&S and produced a fantastic stock pitch that won over the judges.
