The Golden Rule
by Kaimel Jamaal Rule
You will now be engaging with a beautifully honest, commonly unique, analytical, athletic, understanding, peacefully competitive, seriously humorous, and humorously serious everyday man with relatable experience who speaks for himself. I have a soothing voice made for leading Yoga meditations, calming your riotous ass down, and Sunday night 90's R&B romance radio. I'd love to, and can attempt to speak for you if you'd like me to, but the statements spoken in this podcast are not "definitive generalizations". This podcast was requested by many. This podcast taps into what the Golden Rule was, is, can be, and how it ties tightly into the human experience. If we are social reasoning animals, and most of our experiences involve other humans, then I propose that The Golden Rule, and a more concise definition of the rule is very important. Fourth Quarter / Love, Lust, and Commitment
Send a textIn the Fourth Quarter, we wrap it up tightly, but also loosely leave room for more. We discuss how the love, lust, and commitment, connected to your friends, family, and acquaintances, can influence, and is influenced by your ideas, actions, and results, which has and will, influence your nostalgic feelings connected to your past moments, as well as your future (which will inevitably become your past). This episode continues with the authentic seriously comedic tone while we discuss what to take more seriously, what to take less seriously, and how some may want you to take something less seriously, simply because you take that thing more seriously than them. That popular occurance also happens in reverse, in the name of freedom. If you have love for (nostalgia about past episodes, the current moment or hope for the future), lust over new episodes (containing my ideas, actions, and proven results) of, or have any size of commitment (are we acquaintances, friends or family?) towards The Golden Rule, and this podcast, thank you and tell everybody!Support the show

Third Quarter / Acquaintances, Friends, and Family
Send a textIn Episode 3, we discuss the joy of acquaintances, friends, family, and how the addition or lack of them influences the progression of your life. I recently spent numerous days with people, which led me to think even deeper about my personal life and the actions within it. We touch on ideas that are connected through partners as well as how people can be rightfully demoted out of your life. Follow us as we build on connected ideas. Support the show

Second Quarter / Ideas, Actions, Results.
Send a textIn episode 2 of season 2, the second quarter, we dive deeper into the game of life, which isn’t truly a “game”, because you could die and not be “playing” anymore. We enjoy analogizing life to a game, helping us not take life so “seriously”, while continuously playing to win.We discuss adaption to your wins and losses. We discuss ideas, the following actions, and inevitable results. We discuss Bitcoin, like usual. We discuss systems. We freestyle thoughts regarding ghosting, liars, people that are pessimistic against your optimism, and how those people are actually helping you on your journey by being undesirably honest. We tell stories and give RIP shoutouts. We discuss love. We laugh. Your name may have been mentioned in this episode. Facts only.Quarter 1 set us up to go deeper into Quarter 2, and Quarter 2 sets our team up to stretch the lead in Quarter 3. You are unknowingly curious for more “juicy” detail and useless information. We get it. That’s why you scroll. See you soon.Support the show

First Quarter / Nostalgia, The Moment, and The Future.
Send a textIn the season two opener of The Golden Rule, the main plot remains the same, as minor details constantly evolve. Season one presented twelve episodes for the twelve months of the year. Season two presents four episodes for the four quarters of the year. There's four quarters in the financial calendar. There's four quarters in an NBA or NFL game. A circle is usually broken down to into four parts first. In this first episode, we set the stage for the rest of the season. A lot of the topics lightly discussed in episode one will be heavily discussed in episodes two through four. In this episode we discuss the connection between four quarters and our lives. We give shoutouts to family, friends, and sponsors. We laugh at situations. We discuss Bitcoin (finance). We discuss how nostalgia can be a silent killer or a loud motivator. We discuss the trend of passive disrespect. We discuss health. We discuss effective communication while effectively communicating. We plant seeds for future episodes while always connecting with our past, in the present.Support the show

What is The "Right" Thing to Do?
Send a textIn episode eleven, we ask about and discuss the "right" things to do. We've discussed a lot of everyday actions and feelings in our time together during the first ten episodes, and in this sum of season one, you may switch some of your "right" decisions to the "wrong" side of the board. You may double down on your "wrong" decisions because they aren't objective. Have your decisions become more aligned with your definition of The Golden Rule? Are they a case by case basis depending on how you feel or who the other person is that you are reacting to?Support the show

Are There Objective Wrongs?
Send a textIn episode ten, I start by asking the question, are there objective wrongs? We are daily discussing subjectivity and objectivity, sometimes without even realizing. Objective is defined as, "not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts." Instinctively, you may say "YES!" I agree with you. Justification may not agree with you. In regard to different versions of The Golden Rule, we discuss what I think are the basic objective wrongs. What do you think are objective wrongs? Do you think objective wrongs should be taught to children at a young age with a concise explanation of the wrong and the consequences?Support the show

The Marathon of Life
Send a textIn episode nine, we discuss The Marathon of Life. A marathon is literally defined as a "long distance running race, strictly one of 26 miles." The metaphor that life is a marathon isn't widely seen as a metaphor anymore, but a definite truth. We discussed love, hobbies, relationships, sex, infidelity, honesty, the mind, and how they are all involved in your experience. We've also discussed how both versions of The Golden Rule are approached regarding those daily actions and situations. How often do you check-in with yourself and others on your marathon? Do you like the pace you are moving at? Could it be faster? Could it possibly be slower? Hopefully you are exchanging pleasantries with everybody you encounter on this marathon, whether you are passing them up, or they are passing you up. Support the show

The Mind
Send a textIn episode eight, we discuss the mind. The mind is defined as "the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel: the faculty of consciousness and thought." There are many theories that the mind does not reside in the body. What do you believe? With everything we've discussed leading up to this episode, I think we can conclude that a lot, if not all, of our actions start with the mind. They usually also end in the mind with long lasting memories of experience. Has what you define The Golden Rule as been reshaped or refined in your mind during our discussions together?Support the show

Infidelity & Honesty
Send a textIn episode seven, we discuss infidelity and honesty. Infidelity is defined as the action or state of being unfaithful to a spouse or other sexual parter. This also could just be seen as lying or withholding information. In connection to love, our subconscious hobbies, romantic relationships within the relationship umbrella, and sex, infidelity and honesty are reoccurring themes in the experience of life. Infidelity can occur, then hopefully honesty to the deserving party follows before the hurt digs too deep. Does either version of The Golden Rule help defeat this action? Have you ever met a person who desired to be treated poorly, so in turn they treat people the same way?Support the show

Sex
Send a textIn episode six, we discuss sex. Sex is the most natural workout humans experience. Sex is also connected to some of the deepest traumas that humans experience in connection to emotions like love, their hobbies, and relationships where two or more people engage in sex. To some sex is a sacred action, and to others sex is a casual action to not be taken too seriously. A high number of human's belief in sex falls somewhere in-between those two extremes. Can a better understanding and exercise of The Golden Rule make sex and the connection to that action a more enjoyable experience for all of us? Is no sex better than "meaningless" sex? For you personally, is the discussion of relationship goals important before engaging in sex or does it trump your feelings in the moment?Support the show

Romantic Relationships
Send a textIn episode five, we discuss romantic relationships. Rooted in love, hobbies, and sitting in a high level within the relationship umbrella, romantic relationships are important in the growth of life and a consisent hot topic. You will hear about some of my romantic relationship experience, ideas about how romance is and can be approached, as well as how the different versions of The Golden Rule have helped and hindered romantic relationship. Do you feel like there is a reoccurring ingredient of hurt being poured into the romantic dating pool? How can you personally assist in solving this issue?Support the show

The Relationship Umbrella
Send a textIn episode four, we discuss the relationship umbrella. It is popular to assume that a relationship is between two people that are exclusively dating each other. A relationship is defined as, the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected. I believe that we are in some type of relationship with everybody we encounter whether it be the cashier at the grocery store or a longtime co-worker. In connection to love and the evolution of hobbies, does knowing that every encounter will forever leave an experience on your relationship resume make you think about how you infuse the golden rule in all of your interactions?Support the show

Evolution of Hobbies
Send a textIn episode three, we discuss the evolution of hobbies. This open discussion includes information about the evolution of my personal hobbies, as well as how the evolution of your personal hobbies can knowingly and unknowingly shape your interactions and treatment of others whose hobbies match or don't match yours. In connection with love, do your hobbies and the love for them dictate how you treat others around you that may not share the same interests?Support the show

Love
Send a textIn the second episode of The Golden Rule, we discuss love. Love is defined as an intense feeling or deep affection. We may treat people and experiences with the love we have for ourselves, or treat people and other things with the love, or lack of, that we have received or shared with a person or experience. I discuss love in general, things I love, and love transferred between the original and new age version of The Golden Rule.
