In today's episode we are discussing the dark history of one of the most infamous prisons in the United States. The Missouri State Penitentiary was active for 168 years from 1836 to 2004. This was one of the toughest prisons in the country and home to Missouri's gas chamber. Now decommissioned, it has become a destination for tourists and ghost hunters alike.
