Starting kids in the outdoors
James and Luke Jubran started Smile Outdoors. it is a series of books aimed towards kids reading about the wild world we love. Lets be honest ( I helped raise three kidos) getting kids into the outdoors can be at a minimum, complicated. Backyard dog talk

The Deutsch Drahtharr/ Part 1

What happens when you meet a retired Marine Corp General? You talk bird dogs, and hunting of course. I had the pleasure of spending a morning in the quail fields with Walt Boomer. Along with meeting his beloved GSPs later in the evening. A day I will remember for a long time.

Scott Miller Pointers and Cockers
Scott Miller is the resident trainer at Brays Island. Before that his dogs earned more than 700 placements in field trials. he was the NBHA Open Handler of the year for 15 consecutive years. Starting out with training and competing and wining in the Coon Dog World Championships. He then took the NBHA trial world to a new level.
