Back after a rather long absence but back all the same. JazzNOTJazz returns with a lovely mix of Strictly 7's.. Inspired to do this mix by the upcoming (at time of recording) WAH WAH 10th Birthday nothing like a night of amazing music to get you inspired again. Anyway I've included a few Wah Wah 7's in here and there is lots of other great tracks to be heard. Starting off with one of those 7's I found on my shelves and wondered what it was put it on and BAM was blown away with the song.... And surely I couldn'tmake a strictly 7's mix without including the last track Shouts to Snoopy...... Well after a week away diggin in Geneva I'm finally back and have sorted out a new episode of the Podcast. A bit of Disco, Boogie and 2-step and even some Romeo and Juliet to close it all off(16 minutes full). Seems like everyone and their cat is out playing disco and boogie at the moment and by no means am I an expert on the subject but I enjoyed making this mix and may have had a little dance on my own while making it...A few bits i've had for awhile, a few I picked up in Geneva, and there is even a dusty little crackly 7" I picked up across the road in a Charity shop.... So after 4 attempts at recording this mix due to some technical difficulties I think it is finally skip free. Episode 2 is coming from the NOTjazz side of the shelves and is probably one of my favorite mixes I've done. From Lulu to the Olympic Runners to Christine Perfect there is all sorts of things going on in this mix. I'll admit to being a bit of a sucker fom Drums and there is plenty to be found here. Travis Wammack is probably one of my favorite finds this year and the Joachin Kuhn song is on here for Dayo. Hope you Enjoy ... Well the first JazzNOTJazz podcast obviously had to be a straight up Jazz Attack... so I hit the Shelves and pulled out some heavy hitters.
