Happy Star Wars Day!! May the 4th be with you all! Well this is a first. We actually, by the schedule, are releasing an episode ON Star Wars Day! Woo Hoo! Let's celebrate! And what an episode it was to get to talk about. As we say in the show, the tension of this one can be cut with a light saber..wow! Maul faces down Lawson and offers him a deal. Maul faces Master Eeko and offers him a deal. Do we see a pattern here? Truly, when you think about it, his offers are pretty good, and one might be on the smart side of things to take the offer. Maul is working his manipulation on Devon by first inviting her to a tea party, and when she violently refuses, he says he can work with her anger too, and challenges her to a fight. Through frustration of not being able to do a thing against him, Devon gets angry and begins slipping down the slippery slope into darkness....just as he has forseen. Ahhhh.....Asajj Ventress. Do we even have to say anything? She's back. That's all that matters.  One of the coolest characters is back with not quite a vengeance, as her story takes a different path than what you may have last seen her in Clone Wars...maybe you saw the Bad Batch and wondered why she was so different...maybe you read the book Dark Disciple and know her story, and maybe only then do you know that she underwent one of the biggest transformations in Star Wars...either way, Asajj is on a new path, where she finds herself reluctantly helping people, and in this case, a lost young Jedi looking for help to get to where he's going. It's a stand off at the not so OK corral! We get an origin story for Cad Bane, a notorious bounty hunter known for his quick draw of duel pistols! Back when he was a kid trying to survive on the streets of Duro with his best friend Niro, circumstances force them down separate paths, one the road to darker deeds, and one the path of a lighter calling, serving the law. Well, we've come to the end of yet another Star Wars show. Andor wraps up the story leading up to Rogue One and A New Hope, and it does it in style unseen in Star Wars storytelling. Depth of characters, depth of plot, and depth of intrigue. This is how it's supposed to be. The acting is unparalleled. Every character meant something. It all culminates to these moments. Everything we witnessed in season 1, and everything so far in season 2, all leads to what happens in these three episodes! Halfway through Andor already! It's one year later, and we catch up to Casian and Bix hiding out on Coruscant in a safe house, and their relationship has rekindled. Meanwhile, Mon Mothma is in dire situations trying to get votes to go against the Empire, and also having to party with Krennic himself over some historical artifacts. The end is here. The Bad Batch has come to a close. An emotional conclusion to a three season journey. It is always hard to say goodbye to a show that really gets to you. One that has characters you fall in love with. And the Bad Batch was just that. A found family of brothers, a sister, and all sorts of adventure. But there's sunlight in the sky, instead of a broody, overcast day, as the team survives their final battle...and completes their last mission. Save Omega. Save their brothers. And stop Hemlock. It all worked out ok in the end. And so maybe we don't bid farewell, maybe it's see ya later instead...as we watch Omega fly away to join the rebellion as a pilot. The penultimate episode of the final season for the Bad Batch. It's always tough to get through this one as you know it's almost the end. We get all the setup we need for the finale as the team makes it to Tantiss to find Omega, but they're split up with Echo stuck on the inside having to disguise himself as a Storm Trooper, and Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair crash to the surface with Rampart in tow! The finale is next, and the series will wrap it all up. What happens to the team? Who survives? Who gets rescued? And where do they go after all this is over? Things are ramping up and getting very tense around here! Yet again following some of the best action thriller movies to bring us our story! Holy intense, edge of your seat build up this week, as we wait with baited breath to see if the Batch can make it to that shuttle that's headed for Tantiss! It's a nailbiter, Mission Impossible style, and doesn't let you breathe for those final moments. Meanwhile, Omega is planning her second escape "Toy Soldiers" style as she rallies the kids to get ready after she finds tunnels behind her cell wall!  We're down to two episodes left after this week....and then it will all be over. The galaxy is a lot darker tonight.... In Identity Crisis, The Bad Batch goes into some gloomy territory with the stories of this double episode, as we see just what Hemlock is up to in his experiments. Kids are being kept as specimens, used for their blood and treated like lab rats.  Emerie Karr gets promoted to Chief Science Officer, and finds out what Nala Se was working on...or who rather once she gains access to the vault. She isn't comfortable with the situation, but feels powerless to do anything. Moving into Point of No Return, we are met with the most tense episode yet, as Pabu is invaded when the operative finds out where Omega is hiding! He brings a full assault on the peaceful island and will stop at nothing to capture her.  Things do no end well, as we see the team fail in keeping Omega safe, and once again she becomes a prisoner of Hemlock. She's BAAACK!! It's all about Asajj Ventress this week, as one of the greatest characters in Star Wars makes her return, and gets tangled up with our team as she delivers some intel on why the Empire would be after Omega. Through some training, we see a new relationship develop between Asajj and Omega, and trust is formed after witnessing Asajj use the force to calm down a massive sea creature! The team also learns that they can't really handle a single force user, no matter how good their fighting skills are, and it's a humbling experience for them! Asajj Ventress is back. And it's the best thing we've seen in a long while. Will she be back for more? OR was this a lead off into a possible new series for her, or maybe even the next Tales of the Jedi? Finally, the team is back together, and there's some rough waters to navigate, but luckily Omega is there to soften the team up to having Crosshair back again, as she has developed a bond of trust with him. The Batch is back! The boys, and girl, are back in town! Man it's been a long while waiting for them to return, and we get a triple helping to start off with! Omega is at the hidden base on Tantiss, being forced to follow a strict routine of sample gathering and other duties, while Crosshair is continually being experimented on. With Nala Se's help, she looks for a way to escape, but won't leave without Crosshair. Meanwhile, Hunter and Wrecker are still trying to find intel on where they could be, and have come up empty time and again.
