This 4-minute tool is called the Backward Review. In essence, you review your day backwards, for even just four minutes.     Let's talk about the weather —in this case, the SOLAR WEATHER. If you've been feeling a bit off, there is a reason for it. The sun is currently in the peak of activity in its 11-year cycle. There have been recent sightings of aurora borealis or Northern Lights even in our neighborhoods here in the Southeast of the country.  The solar weather has been more intense with bigger solar flares and coronal mass ejections, which can create shifts in geomagnetic activity here on earth. Satellite communication, compasses, GPS, radio signals, power sources can all go wonky. We are also electro-magnetic beings, so what do this intense solar weather mean for our health?  Recent studies have shown that the solar weather does affect our health. I'll go over how in today's podcast.

    Ep. 213 - EFT Tapping and the Acupuncture Meridians

    Hey everyone, I just did a webinar for a company to explain Emotional Freedom Technique Tapping, or EFT for short. There is an abundance of research on EFT and more emerging, showing its effects on both physiology and the mental-emotional state. A 2012 study study showed a 24% reduction in salivary cortisol levels after a 50-minute EFT session compared to 14% in the control group. A more recent 2022 meta-analysis described the effects as "moderate to large." So I thought I would go through the acupressure points in a little bit more detail so that you can have a better understanding of what all these points are for.     The thymus is an important part of our immune system and produces various types of immune cell called T lymphocytes, or T cells for short. T cells are responsible for cell-mediated immunity, identifying infected cells as well as cancer cells. Energetically, the thymus is also a part of our heart chakra. Various tensions in the body, including a "heart shield" can potentially interfere with optimal thymus function.     Ep. 201 - Decongesting the Lymph, Part 1 - The MultiDimensional MD

    The lymphatic system is vital for draining inflammation as well as clearing debris and toxins, including infection. It works via a network of vessels that carry a fluid called lymph. This fluid is filtered in lymph nodes. Lymph fluid is also rich in infection-fighting white blood cells. I first read about the theory of relativity in a high school physics class. It made such a big impact on me, because I started to see the universe in a much bigger way.     I love this phrase: "Do More with Less." Inventor Buckminster Fuller was a huge proponent of "Do More with Less."
