The POLcast

Welcome to a brand new episode of The POLcast! This week, we're going trans-European as we talk about how Europe works and the pros and cons of the EU. Although we'll admit the new format confused us a bit, we managed to get 40 minutes for you while still not knowing how to speak into the mic! We won't have a live episode this week, as it's reading week in college, but hopefully this episode will make do until next Monday. Stay political! - R

Welcome to another episode of The POLcast! Managed to gets lot talked about, from Cameroon to Moldova, Okinawa to Sharm-El-Sheikh, politics went international, but kept its usual craziness.  As always with Ross, Jack, Caoimhe & Shane, keeping it to 45 minutes was hard, but managed to do that by 10 seconds. Which wasn't intentional, but we'll claim it was. 

How'd you guess we have a new episode? With everyone back in the studio, with a fresh week of politics to dissect, we were happy 7 of us didn't leave but rather made Jack permanent. So, we're having a better week than Labour already. Otherwise, we talk about the Slovakian court crisis, Trump's Emergency Declaration for his wall and the performance of the Irish government, only on The POLcast!

Hi again, and welcome to a new episode of The POLcast. In this week's episode, we discussed the Nurses' Strike & the future of the Irish government, card diplomacy between Varadkar, Juncker & May and why clapping or standing in Trump's State of the Union address was a bigger talking point than the speech itself.
