Bills draft lessons after trading back & Sabres thoughts up 3-2

Did the Bills draft a single starter? Time will tell, but they appear to be focusing on depth for their rookie class. Traits and athleticism were targeted over production, but if the new players can sit and learn before being forced onto the field, maybe that bodes well for the future.  The Sabres missed a chance to close out the Bruins, but still lead the series as it heads back to Boston. Who are your 3 stars of the series so why, and why do two of them play goalie?

  2. 99

    With the 26th Overall Pick...

The guys are back breaking down the good from Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the bad from Game 2. They also take some time to discuss what the Bills might do at 26th in the draft. Do they trade out or make the pick? Follow the Process Podcast on X at @The_Processpod

  3. 98

The Sabres are division champs and the Bills aren't

Hang the banner. The Sabres are division champions. The 109 points gave them the 5th-best points percentage in franchise history. They're for real. And no one would've believed in August, but they're division champs and the Bills aren't. The Sabres get the Bruins in the first round and should be favored, though their lack of playoff experience and slumping power play could hold them back.

  4. 97

The Sabres finally did it | Jonah Bronstein joins the show

Our long national nightmare is over. The Sabres, owners of the longest playoff drought in NHL history, are back in the postseason. WIVB's Jonah Bronstein chats about how far this team can go, and we also hit St. Bonaventure hoops at the end.

  5. 96

The Bills' new defense with Carl Jones

Bills DC Jim Leonhard is bringing 3-4 principles to Buffalo. What does it mean for the current players, and what needs might arise? News 4's Carl Jones, a former Syracuse football player, joins us to discuss. We also talked Team USA's gold medal in men's hockey at the end.

  6. 95

Joe Yerdon on USA hockey's best chance for gold since 1980

Joe Yerdon of Bleacher Report and Noted Hockey joins The Process to talk about Team USA men's ice hockey's Olympic outlook for Milan. USA has only won two medals since 1980, both silver, but might have their best shot at gold since. We also touched on the Sabres at the end.

  7. 94

Bills stay in-house with Joe Brady

You already know the Bills have a new head coach. We have some takes.

  8. 93

Bills fire McDermott, open new chapter of the Allen era

Sean McDermott is out. Brandon Beane got promoted. Don't worry, we're still going to be The Process.

  9. 92

    Bills-Broncos pregame episode

The Bills head to the thin air in Denver to face the #1 Broncos on short rest ... but Buffalo's strengths might match up well with the few shortcomings Denver's defense has. Nick and Charlie see a tight game ahead.

  10. 91

Bills-Jags playoff matchup means stress is ahead

Can the Bills survive a trip to Jacksonville, or will their worst qualities bite them again? This has been a frustrating season of grinding out ugly wins, but the Bills tallied 12 of them. They haven't been playing to their potential on offense. Will they be able to figure it out in a playoff game? We're hoping their experience lifts them in a shootout.

  11. 90

Buffalo teams suddenly on a roll

Remember when Joe Brady's seat was getting hot and the Sabres were stuck in last place? All I know since yesterday is everything has changed.

  12. 89

Great Buffalo sports week: Bills comeback & Sabres get new GM

Kevyn Adams is out, Jarmo Kekalainen is in. Drake Maye is ... well, he's still in the MVP race, but you better believe Josh Allen is too. The Bills huge comeback made a statement, as did a change in leadership for the hockey team that isn't dead yet.

  13. 88

Bills show they can take a punch in Bengals comeback, just in time for Patriots showdown

The Bills overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Bengals, thanks in large part to Christian Benford's second straight game with a defensive touchdown and Josh Allen's alien ability. Now, the Bills look to end the Patriots' 10-game win streak and keep their AFC East title hopes alive.

  14. 87

Every Bills flaw presents at once in Texans loss

Yikes, another bad game for the Bills. Seats have to start feeling hotter as the offense continues to struggle. A loss this week to Pittsburgh could put the Bills on the outside of the playoff race and lead to bigger changes.

  15. 86

Are any seats getting warmer after Bills loss to Dolphins?

Ugh, what a gross week. The Bills didn't show up, the weather sucked, and the Sabres were the Sabres. Let's all try to do better, shall we?

  16. 85

    Big Dubs, Bad Deadline

This week Nick and Charlie discuss the big win against the KC Chiefs, the big offense performance, and the stars of the defense. The guys also talk about the trade deadline that wasn't. Will the lack of moves hurt Buffalo? Do the Bills have the answer to the offense in house? Find out on this weeks episode of The Process Podcast.

  17. 84

Are the Bills ready for the Chiefs?

We got through an entire Chiefs episode without mentioning Taylor Swift. The Bills were the Panthers father figure last week in a 40-9 beatdown, but fans need to hope the passing game isn't cancelled Sunday for another meeting with the Patrick Mahomes' resurgent offense. Later, Charlie shares his wish list for the trade deadline, as well as a Jack Eichel reference that could ruin the friendship.

  18. 83

    Are the Bills Broken?

This week Nick and Charlie chat about their game day experience in ATL! What’s wrong with the Bills? Where can they look to address before the trade deadline.

  19. 82

Bills are AFC's last unbeaten team after another forgettable win

The Saints game was uncomfortably close, but it's a game we won't remember come playoff time. The Bills and the Eagles are the only teams that got out of September without a blemish on their record. Where do they go from here? Drake Maye and the Patriots come to town for a Sunday Night Football matchup.

  20. 81

Is it too soon to think about playoff seeding?

The Bills are 3-0. The rest of the AFC East is 1-8. The division feels like a given already. What about the 1 seed?

  21. 80

Are Bills fans getting spoiled with all these ho-hum 30-point games?

The Jets stink. The Dolphins might too. It's just another day dropping 30 points ... don't let this get old. Also: Josh Allen drops a Mangia reference, trying to remember the Dolphins last win in Buffalo, and Chiefs players wear dumb t-shirts.

  22. 79

Bills win an all-timer ... let's never go back to The Drought

Phewwww, what a game. The Bills' historic 41-40 comeback win against the Ravens in Week 1 was a game for the ages that kicked off the stadium's final season in style. The Bills have plenty to fix on defense ... but let's worry about that later and keep soaking in the afterglow of one of the best wins Bills have ever seen.

  23. 78

  24. 77

Last week, we called Bills-Jets the Davante Adams Bowl. Well, both teams went out and got new receivers after the game. The Bills added former fourth-overall pick Amari Cooper, a smooth route runner who carried a much smaller cap hit than Adams.

  31. 70

Is Bills-Jets the Davante Adams Bowl? Bet the under? Charlie and Nick disagree amid losing streak

  34. 67

Confidence heading to Miami after needing Allen's heroics to beat Cards
