Episode #3 with Vicki Mac Callum

Though it was recorded a year ago all the information is still so relevant in this edition of 'The Process.' I sat down with Cape Town based radio personality (and also former Beat Bangaz DJ Academy student at our DJ school) Vicki Mac Callum. Vicki is a Radio Personality, Entertainment News Reporter, MC, DJ and Voice-Over Artist. You can listen to her traffic reports and blitz entertainment news segment, "The Fix With Vix", on the Afternoon Drive Show every Mon-Fri from 3-6 PM on Good Hope FM.   AnchorFM - https://bit.ly/2Y3RrJw Spotify - https://spoti.fi/2E4hEjI  To learn more about Vicki Mac Callum  https://vickimaccallum.me https://web.facebook.com/DJVickiMacCa...

    Episode #2 with Clayton Morar

For this one I sat down with Clayton Morar one of South Africa's most sought after publicists. Clayton Morar has established himself as one of the foremost celebrity talent and public relations experts in South Africa. Having previously worked at tvplus magazine (the 8th largest magazine in SA, within the Media 24 brand) as assistant news editor for over 4 years, Clayton has gained the reputation of being a credible and respected celebrity journalist, blogger, radio and TV personality and is highly sought-after at media and entertainment events. Now he too hosts events, and has transitioned over into the fast-paced, yet exciting world of social media PR, events and celebrity media services. Episode #1

Welcome to 'The Process' its taken me a while to start cracking due to uncertainty and overthinking but here we are. Started this journey in 2019 with Shadley Chase as we were recording interviews with various creatives in Cape Town getting into what makes them tick. We were going to upload these videos to a Youtube channel & use the audio as part of a podcast. After shooting about 10 of those video episodes we both got caught up in other projects and then of course the Covid19 pandemic hit thereafter when we initially wanted to launch it earlier this year. Anyways here we are & I'm hype and committed. My podcast journeys starts in 2004 via the Podomatic platform & I had two podcasts at the time 'Planet Cape Town' & 'Mzansi Pulses' both music themed podcasts. Fast forward 2017/18 I then tried my hand again by launching the 'SAHipHop Fix' podcast but in all honesty at the time I wasn't really committed & didn't really have the passion after about 6 episodes. Part of the reason is that I just didn't have the capacity nor drive as I was cutting myself in 100 pieces - life priorities & my mental health supersedes  everything for me nowadays. I'm passionate about this one though as I'm excited to unravel the thought processes of creatives that I admire from authors, musicians to social entrepreneurs which in turn motives me personally with all the creative things I'm busy with. I hope you will find value in this podcast as I have and I will appreciate a share, like or comment. If your listening via the Anchor app send me a voicenote so I can feature it during the next show. Apologies beforehand for the audio quality of episode as it was shot without putting the lapel mics on hehe...Enjoy and watch the video version via my website.
