This is the audio version of my latest blog post: Why you paint. I am basically thinking out loud and drawing inspiration from my current read: Cezanne by Ulrike Becks-Malorny, Taschen edition. I purchased the book at my local bookshop. As I read through Cezanne's beginnings, I am reminded of painting as a mission. Why is it that someone would start painting. Cezanne has his story, an interesting one but we all have our personal motivation. This goes even for all forms of art. Today I am sharing about excitement: This feeling that energizes me. It leaves me drained but incredibly creative. Ideas have kept flowing so I will give them life one after the other.
