Kristie uses her vast expertise to explain how the Japanese concept of Omoiyari influences the depiction of a character derived from Sherlock Holmes, the South Korean show 'Queen of Mystery' is discussed and we end up talking about Batman again, sorry.

Sherloctober 2017 comes to a close and Kristie and Matty revisit their recommendations to each other, the gloriously 90's TV movie 1994 Baker Street: Sherlock Holmes Returns and the excellent-in-every-way novel A Study in Scarlet Women by Sherry Thomas. (There's a very minor not-really-even-a-spoiler spoiler for a very small aspect of A Study in Scarlet Women from 55:00 to 56:39 but maybe skip it if you haven't read it and want to, which you should, because it's brilliant)

Kristie's back, and she's brought a list of her Top Five Sherlock Holmes...Things! And demanded Matty do the same, so prepare yourself for discussion of TV shows, Deducifyin' Cowboy Brothers, Young Lady Detectives, Cartoon Dogs and Opera Ghosts! Content Warning: Around 21 minutes in, we discuss the TV show Elementary and focus in particular on a main character whose storyline involves kidnapping and sexual abuse.
