Hours 0-2h14m - The ReFrame Hour 2h14m -3h26m - Baz & Nova Bradley Next up on the ReFrame we have the wonderful Baz and Nova, Leeds very own pair of Balearic Archaeologists, not averse to picking their way through Europe's dusty record recesses for the weird the wonderful and mostly elusive oddities! Featuring music from Ilija Rudman, Shiva, Mark Grusane, Glen Ricks, Minako Yoshida, MOTON, System Olympia, Ourrra, DJ Absolutely Shit, Richenel, Cloud, Yazoo, Sophie Stanke, Private Eye, King B, Random Factor, Phil Gerus, Its Immaterial, Hotaru, Tropiki. The ReFrame :: Proto House Mix 86/92
This selection has been in the offing for a few months now after locating a stack of minidiscs in a dusty recess. The plan was to upload a live mix from plan B back in 2007 when we welcomed the forefather DJ Pierre to our (mine and Adrian Blunts) established B-Side night at Plan B in Brixton. A 20 years of acid house special no less, the slight glitch... the mix, had corrupted and forever it shall rest in memory. Have tried to recall most of the tracks from that night and embellished a little with just the best ones here :-) and a couple of tracks dug in recent times that sit kindly in the mix. This is head down, deep late 80's house barring the last track which is from 92. Its all early house forms, warm baselines. Featuring tracks from Delano, Master C, Hotline, Mr & Mrs Dale, Club MCM, Tribal House, Jungle Wonz, Virgo, Sha-Lor, Virgo, Blax and Mad Mike Enjoy and if it takes your fancy come join the Reframe group on facebook for tracklistings, info and updates on the show and to make contact please www.facebook.com/groups/thereframeshow/?fref=ts

The ReFrame Show Takeover Ft. Flash Atkins (Paper recordings)

A mix that has been in the Reframes mitts since mid summer we have held onto this for the last few months exclusively airing in Reframe HQ waiting to unleash as the nights draw in and leaves turn golden. For this is a mix that is to be listened to and savoured, dedicate a couple of hours to one side, pour yourself your favourite accompaniment and kick back.... Every once in a while you venture on a collection of music so encapsulating or intriguing that inspires, influences and switches you onto new paths. Flash Atkins has readily achieved this with a genre defying amble through afro, Balearic, electronic, downbeat melancholy and beyond. A simply beautiful seamless selection spanning two hours. Flash Atkins is the superheroe pseudonym of Ben Davis whose latest album was released on Paper recordings 'The Life and Times'. paper records is a label Ben is co-founder, he also is labe owner of shaboom and Blacktrax records.
