Whilst in the midst of her intense grief, three days later, Yvonne suffered more pain and trauma when she was abused.What followed many years after was heartbreak, homelessness, no protection, guidance or accountability.Caught You In A Lie is Yvonne’s one-woman national show based on her book Permission To Speak. Granted, which tells Yvonne’s story of her experiences and how she was expected to remain silent. Forever.Yvonne is now working with authorities to make sure all victims are heard.Caught You In A Lie is showing at The Shaw Theatre, Euston Road, London on 23 May 2026 with further shows to follow.
