The Sheridan Tapes

In 2018, famed horror writer Anna Sheridan disappeared, leaving behind only a box of mysterious cassette tapes. Detective Sam Bailey is tasked with piecing together what happened to Anna Sheridan from the seemingly impossible encounters she recorded, but as the scattered pieces of the puzzle come together, Bailey discovers that the picture is even stranger – and more dangerous – than it seemed.

    ANATHEMA: New Season Crowdfunding Now

Crowdfunding NOW! www.anathemapod.com A few years after Anna Sheridan’s mysterious return, a small college fan club in the pacific northwest discovers VHS tapes that they believe to be an unauthorized TV adaptation of Anna’s first book: the short story compilation, Anathema. ANATHEMA: New Show Announcement & Call for Artists

In 2005, Anna Sheridan released her first book: a collection of short stories secretly inspired by her own experiences with the supernatural, entitled “Anathema." In 2018, Anna Sheridan disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Oslow County, Nevada. In 2020, Anna Sheridan reappeared just as mysteriously. In 2025, a set of enigmatic VHS tapes began to circulate within Sheridan’s fandom, with many claiming they were an unreleased, unauthorized TV adaptation of “Anathema.” These are those very tapes, and the stories of the unfortunate souls who watched them. TST: Anathema is a 12 episode horror anthology series and loose continuation/spin-off of The Sheridan Tapes, focusing on a new set of characters and stories within the shared universe of Homestead on the Corner. We are currently seeking writers, directors, and sound designers to create five standalone horror stories inspired by the world and tone of The Sheridan Tapes, but presented as in-universe works of fiction. Submissions are open to everyone, so if you’d like to be a part of the team, please submit to the appropriate Google Form by midnight PST on September 5th, 2025.
