Following a series loss at UTSA, NO. 15 East Carolina (20-6, 4-2) needed to bounce back with a strong week and the Pirates did just that. ECU rallied from a 4-0 early innings deficit against UNCW and then took care of business against the Blazers in a weather-adjusted series on Friday and Saturday. Now, the Pirates are 12th in D1Baseball's Poll and will travel to Raleigh on Tuesday to play NC State before venturing down to Boca Raton this weekend.

Regular season champ South Florida led by as many as 30 points and cruised to an 81-59 victory over East Carolina in the quarterfinals of The American Athletic Conference Championship on Friday afternoon in Fort Worth.
