The guys are back for another episode of the Steve and Kyle Podcast!  On this week’s episode, Steve and Kyle discuss the extensive plans that are underway for the new APS.  Sure, that’s still another 42 episodes away, but planning early is always beneficial!  While talking about that, Steve revealed that Annette revealed her true feelings on the big podcast. The guys reviewed Steve’s latest stint as a bartender at Pulaski Days, and all of the sights and sounds he experienced while slingin’ liquor.  Speaking of sights and sounds, Kyle gave a Captain Bowling update, revealing the latest awkward encounter with this mythical creature. The guys also covered the second Presidential Debate lightly, focussing more on Ken Bone and Kyle’s most hated internet memes.  The episode closed with a quick round of rapid-fire word association. Recording this week’s episode of the Steve and Kyle Podcast started a bit later than usual because Kyle had lots of adult things to do today.  He had to cut the grass, wait for a repairman to come to the house and then spent way too long on the phone with customer service from his cable company.  This led to some discussion about some awful customer service experiences, including one that Steve experienced just hours ago.  Even though the employees were trying to help, both Steve and Kyle were beyond irritated with them.   The guys discussed their encounter with “Captain Bowling” last week…a guy who was really “in your face” and dropped a crazy revelation to Steve during normal conversation.   Steve and Kyle attempted to make plans to go golfing soon, but it may not happen because of busy schedules, including Steve’s 8-hour-long volunteer gig this weekend at Pulaski Days in Grand Rapids. Kyle revealed that back in third grade, he had high career aspirations.  Did he want to be a football player?  An astronaut?  Maybe a race car driver?  Nope.  His goals were a bit more…realistic.  And sad. The guys closed the episode by checking out the new Nike self-lacing shoes, inspired by the shoes that Marty wore in Back to the Future Part 2. Steve and Kyle are back this week with some hot takes on the first Presidential Debate!  OK, not really.  Yes, the guys discuss the debate, but not in an informed way whatsoever…more like a frustrated way like everyone else probably talked about it at work today. Some possible upgrades are coming down the road to the APS, but Steve got a bit of a brush-back pitch when he broached the topic with Annette.  It turns out that the guys aren’t really living up to their promise that was made last New Year’s Eve, when the committed themselves to a two-man-band performance of Auld Lang Syne on the guitar and harmonica. The show closed with some talk about Kyle’s Philly trip during the Pope’s visit last year, as well as with a plug for a big upcoming Steve and Kyle outing! They did it! They’re back for another episode of the Steve and Kyle Podcast, just about six weeks after their last endeavor. Sorry about that, folks! In this week’s episode, we talk about the health scares that kept both Steve and Kyle sidelined for a little while and the new diet that is keeping Steve alive at the moment. Also covered was the recent Jimmy Pardo show that the guys both attended, as well as an upcoming Steve Rannazzisi show that they're both considering attending. That got them on the topic of Rannazzisi's 9/11 lie that he was finally called out on in the last few years, and then a further discussion of 9/11 in general. Uplifting! The episode closed with a discussion of some "crying movies," as well as a recap of Steve's major Friday Night Lights spoiler to Kyle on his birthday years ago. This week on the Steve and Kyle Podcast, the guys discuss a great variety of topics as usual. The episode starts off with Steve talking about his hobby job as a machinist, where he listened to our "podcast friend's" podcast. Steve and Kyle also talked head transplants, DIY projects and the Olympics. Speaking of the Olympics, that got Kyle on the topic of the time he was blocked by Hope Solo of the US Women's Soccer team on Twitter. Spoiler alert: she was justified in blocking him! Other topics discussed were Kyle cat-sitting Steve's cats and the insane rage that pets can cause. Then, the episode ends abruptly when something terrible happens to Kyle. In this episode of The Steve and Kyle Podcast, Kyle gives a recap of his deteriorating health due to a weekend camping trip. Steve and Kyle were both shocked by the initial podcast rankings, but have come back to Earth in recent days after the numbers have faded. They go on to talk about a variety of topics, including The Bachelorette (of course), the disaster that is the Rio Olympics, goats, dog training and Steve's unsuccessful Craigslist sales. Someone from the podcast My Ponderous Podcast sent in some audio that may very well be the show's new theme song! The episode ends with Steve telling a story of how he managed to alienate a super fan of the radio show while trying to be funny.
