How I healed my heavy, painful periods by eating more dairy, fat and iron rich foods!
This episode is about my personal journey as to how I healed my extremely heavy, painful periods by using mindset work, my intuition & by slowing down my metabolism, using nutrition (high fat foods and dairy) with the science behind as to why this worksMy new goal now is to keep eating this way to extend my luteal phase so that I get my period every 28 days instead of every 21 days & to also use this diet to heal chronic skin issues (acne & hidradenitis) bc there is a correlation Things not mentioned in the episode but - I also eat every 3-4 hours to keep my blood sugar and cortisol stable + within 1st hour of waking up- I drink more decaf than caffeinated bc my body can be sensitive to caffeine (which can impact my cortisol levels ) so if I do have caffeine, I’ll add lots of fats and protein from milk, heavy cream and sometimes ghee to blunt the caffeine spike - Do not consume dairy with iron rich foods. Needs to be 2 hours away iron Again, this is my own personal journey, so do what resonates with you and do not follow what I do just because you have the same issue.
