Life has been hectic and during these times in my life, I see how important it is to stick close to God. But God is often silent in these times of transition. This is when we are extremely susceptible to fall.

Side Story: My amazing podcast studio engineer closed his studio last week. So I’ve been actively looking for a new studio to record. This is the first place I checked out..and I was less than thrilled. But the Holy Spirit told me to record here for today. As I was speaking, my message took a turn and the Holy Spirit told me, “this is for the man behind the camera”. It’s amazing how God will send you directly to where He wants you to go, to preach the redemptive Gospel to His beloved.

Kim and I have been friends for over 10 years. She has helped me along my journey and shares her valuable insight into the various situations we encounter leaving the LGBTQ to follow Jesus.

Selecting those whom you hold yourself accountable is a crucial part of our walk with Christ. Choose wisely.

I don’t know about you, but I have been the queen of cutting negative people out of my life. Yet we can’t always do this. Some people are family that we HAVE to be in close proximity too. Others we work with. We cannot always cut people out of our lives. So how do we deal with this head on and in a way that would give us peace? Join in on the discussion. Enjoy.

We can feel like we’ve overcome certain struggles in our life, and we may have. But new seasons can bring about not only new struggles, but revive old struggles as well.

Why are you even following God? Many individuals “Why” just isn’t good enough. Some truly follow God out of fear or duty. This type of allegiance creates followers who truly don’t understand the love and grace of God. In theory they may, but when it comes to practical application of receiving God’s love and grace…they struggle. Don’t feel bad. This has been one of my biggest areas of struggle. I grew up fearful of God’s wrath and constantly trying to avoid sin…this was miserable. Let’s talk about it!

Marco and I have created a close friendship over the past few years while being in mostly opposite sides of the spectrum regarding political and LGBTQ beliefs.
