Chat GPT was first launched at the end of 2022 and it was absolutely crazy the way it took off.  I started using it in January 2023 so I’ve now been using it and experimenting with it for just over a year. When you go to flower school you are taught how to create designs using premade recipes by your tutors. You follow them through to create your aesthetic design because that is what you are learning - the design aspect of floristry and the placement of each bloom in the optimal space.  Then you want to start being creative and you delve into business and all of a sudden this becomes a huge challenge.  Everything from types of flowers and species and then the stem counts themselves - this becomes a whole new learning curve leaving some crippled with analysis paralysis to take the next step with ease. Whatever it is that you’re intending to do this year, the great thing is you can start with a clean slate building from where you finished off last year.   I’m here to help you today with your marketing strategy so that you can sell what you have on offer.  I’ll help you put a plan together for  the year. You may even want to break it down into 3 month stretches so it’s easier for you to focus on. So grab a pen and paper and sit down with me and let’s do this. 

So you’ve reflected back on 2023 - looked at what went well, what you would carry on doing because it's still working and what you could potentially change to do something better.  And now it’s natural to start looking at the year ahead, 2024. Some people will look at setting New Year Resolutions and goals. Whatever your approach, the first thing you need to do is get clear on what you want for yourself and your business.This will help you plan properly for the year ahead, visualise what you want to achieve and set yourself the right goals. Then break down your goals step by step, write them down on your laptop or journal and take action. Remember, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.  

Reflection is really important because it helps you to see the progress you’ve made, what you want to do the following year and helps you manoeuvre through your personal life and your business. In this episode, I reflect on my journey in 2023 and what's worked, what hasn't worked and what I would do differently going forward in 2024.
