Thabang Sentso as known by his peers but TheBang JD as known by groove junkies is a Soweto born selector who is no novice to Mzansi’s music industry scene. His charisma and versatility (in music) being due to his up bring in Soweto when South Africa went through transformation in the 90’s. Being exposed to a multi-cultured society lead him to his amalgamative component of different genres under the electronic dance sphere.Like most kiddies born in the 80’s his first experience of dance music was in the early 90’s through Disco classics that hit South Africa by storm. His household filled with ‘eargasmic’ soundscapes (of melodies and groove) mutated his wet ears in a speed of light.Before you could know it in his teenage years, TheBang JD, was already tempering with the sounds of Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&b, Soul, Funk, Trance, Tribal-rhythms, House Music and literally any tangible live music sounds. It was no wonder that he started to produce his own music, 5 years post (his own productions)
