Some movies imprint upon us cherished memories we will never forget while others we could only wish we’d never think of again. Jump into this exploration as we rediscover films and discuss the process of how the movie was made, detail the cast, take a look at the production, and have a movie club-esque discussion of various points of the featured film. Join Matt and Angel as they discuss why they thought a sniper targeting clowns was a much larger plot point in this movie, who could be today's Pauly Shore, stoner films, and things you would never think could even come up in a conversation!

    Episode 44 - Alien: Romulus

    Remember Alien: Romulus? This 2024 sci-fi horror film puts us smack-dab in the middle of Alien and Aliens. What happens when you get a bunch of young adults, a couple of androids, and some aliens on a space station? A pregnant woman with an unnaturally evolved hybrid alien baby... thing! Because of course you do. Released several years after Alien: Covenant, the fanbase was yearning for a new Alien movie. It was yearning for Alien: Romulus. Was that yearning satiated? Find out as Matt and Angel continue the chronological watch-through of the Alien franchise, discuss what the hell that ending was, and who would win in a tournament style fight to crown the greatest android in the series.

    Episode 43 - Total Recall

    Remember Total Recall? This 1990 sci-fi action film from Paul Verhoeven and staring Arnold Schwarzenegger asks the question, what if you could implant memories of a vacation to Mars where you pretend to be a spy and find out that an ancient Martian civilization built a way to make Mars habitable like Earth, but they just never pressed the button to start the machine to do it?  Along the way in this episode we discuss was Quaid really a hero, did the 1980s have the pinnacle of human fashion, and why is there so much collateral damage!?  Will Total Recall be... totally recalled?

    Episode 42 - Alien

    Remember Alien? This 1979 sci-fi horror movie written be Ban O'Bannon and directed by Ridley Scott thrusted us into the Alien universe. Our chronological watch through of the Alien franchise continues to tumble its way through space like a hunk-of-junk mining vessel that has a crew that decided to break quarantine protocols and now there is a 7 foot tall alien life form killing everything it sees one-by-one. In this episode we discuss how the prequels seemingly change this movie, what impact previous characters have had to get us to this point, if George Romero is part of the Alien universe, and how can Elliot drive his bike around with ET in the basket!? Also, why is there a cat on the mining ship!?

    Episode 41 - Thirteen Ghosts

    Remember Thir13en Ghosts? This 2001 supernatural horror movie features... 12 ghosts but then also another so is it really 13 ghosts? But that 13th ghost isn't the one that they claim will be the the 13th ghost, so is it really 13 ghosts? Join Matt and Angel as they go down the ethereal-memory-lane to see if they can totally recall this movie in it's entirety. Along the way they will discuss the lore of the Dark Zodiac ghosts, the production of the movie, and deep dive into this occult cult classic.     Remember Alien: Covenant? No, not Prometheus, the one after that one. You know, the one Ridley Scott said had the same story as Prometheus. They are totally different movies? This episode we dive deep into the 2017 sci-fi horror movie, Alien: Covenant. Follow the events of a post-Prometheus world and see what the landscape of the Alien franchise looked like until just weeks after Covenant's release and how quickly it all fell apart. This 2001 animated comedy film from the creators of Toy Story tells the incredible journey of two monsters who have to hide their workplace embarrassment from their employer. Join Matt and Angel as they discuss Pixar films, the world of Monsters, Inc., and everything in-between! One of the hosts absolutely hates this film, can you guess which one it is!?

    And we're back! Remember Prometheus? This 2012 sci-fi horror movie directed by Ridley Scott was hyped to give us all the Alien answers we could ever want! Did it deliver? Join Matt and Angel as they continue the "Chronological Alien Franchise" watch-through and discuss what the heck does anything in this movie even mean!? And is it worth meeting God? Find out here!

    Episode 37 - Pan's Labyrinth

    Remember Pan's Labyrinth? Join Matt and Angel as they attempt to totally recall the plot of this 2006 dark fantasy film from Guillermo del Toro. In the discussion of this film we look at not only what went into making it, but also the major themes explored in the movie.  This episode also features what is sure to be the new fan favorite segment - Angel's Lightning Round, where Angel gets pounded by question after question. And don't forget about the Top 5 in this episode, in which we find out what the top 5 worst tasks Ofelia would have had to complete to fulfill her goal. Was Pan's Labyrinth totally recalled?     Do you remember Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem? This 2007 sci-fi action movie follows chronologically after the first AVP, but that's pretty much it! Join Matt and Angel as they continue down the road known as the chronological watch through of the Alien franchise. Along the way there is discussion of how this movie impacts the greater Alien timeline, what new things both the xenomorph and Predator bring to the lore, and why this movie is so dark. As in lighting. Can you even see anything happening in this!? Also discussed is the timeline of how this movie was created and why there was such a demand for blood, guts, and gore from producers, along with the greater lore impact a xenomorph would have on other legendary movie figures.

This 2004 sci-fi action cross-over (and totally not a court room drama like one would naturally think) pits two of the biggest movie icons head to head and throws a group of humans in-between them for, you know, story structure. Join Matt and Angel as they begin their chronological watch-through of the Alien franchise, discovering along the way all their memories of AVP like Matt not even remembering he saw this movie opening day in the theaters! This episode features a look at the build-up to the release of the film, a discussion of "is this an Alien or Predator movie," and somewhere along the way Rob Zombie's Dragula. What even is this episode?

    Episode 33 - Please Don't Feed The Children

    Remember Please Don't Feed the Children? We didn't even know it existed! This 2025 psychological thriller (maybe?) follows a group of orphans (not 1840's Charles Dickens orphans unfortunately) as they seek a new beginning. Coming of Age in a zombie apocalypse. What could ever go wrong!? Join Matt and Angel as they attempt to predict what occurs in the film prior to watching it and then discuss the finer details of items like is a dangerous secret or a sinister secret worse?

    Episode 32 - Dreamcatcher

    Remember Dreamcatcher? We totally do! This 2003 sci-fi horror flick based on the 2001 Stephen King novel was a box-office bust. But it wasn't a bust in our hearts! Matt and Angel attempt to recall Dreamcatcher from memories formed over 20 years ago, and you may just be surprised! From memories of scenes that don't even occur in the movie, to a deep dive into the production, this episode covers it all! If you don't remember Dreamcatcher, let us remember for you!

    Do you remember Highlander? Join Matt and Angel as they attempt to recall the entirety of this 1986 sci-fi action fantasy flick. How much of an immortal could you cut off until it dies? Why is the Highlander series seemingly immortal in it's own way? Why is Sean Connery an Egyptian-Japanese-French-man? All this and so much more is discussed in this immortally long episode.

    Remember Spawn? This 1997 superhero movie attempted to meld CGI and edgy characters into the biggest thing since Batman! Did it work? Join Matt and Angel as they remember the 90s and try to figure out why Spawn was just so cool. From the history of the character, the production of the movie, and discussion of the film, this episode has more necroplasm oozing out of it than one of Clown's foot boils.

    Remember Deadly Detention? Yeah - no one does! This 2017 Horror Comedy is The Breakfast Club meets unfunny-and-not-scary-movie-about-teenagers-being-hunted-in-a-prison. This episode is an ode to all the B-movies out there (and everything categorically lower than B-movies). Join Matt and Angel as they discuss the movie that was possibly the catalyst to this show even becoming a thing! Along the way the topics of title important, why are there so many "Deadly" movies, the value of physical media, and an evaluation of modern horror are discussed.

    Do you remember Tropic Thunder? 17 years... YES... 17 years since the release of Tropic Thunder, Matt and Angel discuss this all-time classic (and controversial) comedy. From production to end result, we discuss it all, plus more! Niche spoof-comedies, the 7th Nightmare on Elm Street, and Will Ferrell, it is all in this off-the rails episode.

    Remember Air Bud? This 1997 family sports flick stars a dog that plays basketball! Join Matt and Angel as they try to figure out why this is even called "Air" Bud! From dogs coming out of the woods riddled with shotgun ammunition to the greatest cinematic shot in existence - Norm Snively's car falling apart as he is driving it, we cover it all! This 1997 action thriller staring Nic Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich is an over-the-top American classic.     Deja Movie is now known as Totally Recalled! Wow! Remember The Lego Movie? This 2014 adventure comedy film is a glorified commercial... or is it!? Join Matt and Angel as they stop-motion-animate themselves through the world of Lego in search of the Kragle we all need: the perfect remembrance of a movie. We go brick-by-mighty-brick and deconstruct the film and finally put it all back together with a whole new dream cast at the end.

    Episode 24 - Small Soldiers

    Remember Small Soldiers? This 1998 action comedy was full of small things, but it was a BIG MOVIE. Cause you know, small and big. Also, Joe Dante directs little things that cause chaos, where have we seen that before? Join Matt and Angel as they discuss Gremlins Toy Story and Angel finds out that Kirsten Dunst haunted his entire childhood.

    Episode 23 - The Rocketeer

    Remember The Rocketeer? This 1991 superhero flick has stunt pilot Cliff Secord blasting into our hearts as the titular Rocketeer. Is this diesel-punk alternative history full of shock and awe, or a complete snooze-fest? Join Matt and Angel as they discuss that sometimes it is just better leaving a movie as a memory, even if that memory is completely wrong and the scene you think you remember doesn't even occur in this film. Or anywhere else in existence.

    Episode 22 - Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

    Remember Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves? This 1991 action adventure flick has Kevin Costner rockin' Robin around the clock during one of the greatest runs for an actor from the late 80s to early 90s. Join Matt and Angel as they discuss this movie and the greater American thirst for Robin Hood media for the past 100 years. From casting, to accents not being in the film, to accents being back in the film, to accents being back out of the film, we cover a lot (not just the accents).

    Episode 21 - Bambi

    Remember Bambi? Apparently the movie consists of multiple stages of life for Bambi - who knew!? Join Matt and Angel as they discuss this 1942 "masterpiece." From World War II impacting the box-office, to criticisms that Disney was losing it's fanciful spark, we discuss it all! And throw in a dash of the top 5 worst villains that could have been included in this movie, and we have an intensely wild episode about failing to remember anything that happened in this movie.

    Episode 20: The Day After Tomorrow

    Remember The Day After Tomorrow? Of course not! I hasn't happened yet, because it is the day after tomorrow. But when we finally reach the day after tomorrow, we will learn there also happens to be a climate-change-apocalypse movie from 2004 that just happens to share the same name as two days from now. Join Matt and Angel as they recall this disaster epic which has been called a "wild ride" and "pulse pounding!" How much pulse can be pounded safely? No one may never know. How much of this have we seen before? No one may never know.

    Episode 19 - Ernest Scared Stupid

    Remember Ernest Scared Stupid? We slapstick our way back to this 1991 family horror film and put the back-of-the-box description of "this treat delivers off-the-wall nuttiness that's sure to drive you wild any time of the year!" to the test. Can this truly drive us wild any time of the year!? In this episode we discuss the origins of Ernest, ask the question of is there one Ernest, or multiple Ernests? Is there an Ernest multiverse? And of course, we ask ourselves... wait, have we seen this before?

    Remember Hocus Pocus? This 1993 fantasy comedy is now considered a cult classic, but it sure had a rough start! Join Matt and Angel as they discuss this box-office bomb turned Halloween staple. Along the way we argue is it proper to watch this movie outside of Halloween time, and the larger scope of is there ever an "incorrect" time to watch a movie? Also - why is Sister Act 2 such an important movie? Are we bewitched, or have we just not seen this movie before?

    Remember Jurassic Park? We're guessing you do... but how much do your really remember? This 1993 sci-fi action film altered the course of cinema, and apparently the life of co-host Angel! In this episode we discuss all things Jurassic Park and learn that the Nostalgia Stream flows deep. We know Michael Crichton wanted to use real gorillas in Congo, but do you think he ever contemplated using real dinosaurs in Jurassic Park?

    Remember Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? 1990s New York. It was the worst of times... until 4 mutated humanoid turtles ascended from the depths of muck and filth to protect an entire city from a crime wave! Join us as we look into the absolutely insane origins of the the Green Machine, a planned alternative Turtles movie with bare breasted nuns, and the required discussion of who is your favorite turtle. Crazy accents, a gorilla that drinks a martini and smokes a cigar, not-so good gorillas, NOT-gorillas, diamonds, laser guns, airplanes, and Bruce Campbell! Oh - and it clocks in at 108 minutes. Wow!     Remember Predator? This 1987 sci-fi action movie puts a lot of meat on screen. And then the Predator just goes and butchers that meat. Some meat gets cut. Some meat blasted open.
