Finally playing live again after a long break, this time it was t when the wirwar soundsystem gathered their forces for a night at the Hall of Fame in Tilburg on the 16th of november 2024 ... Still full on, still loud and noisy but with some sort of butterfly effect :)

Vinatek 2017 -- a proper teknival at the campsite belonging to the huge Vinarock festival held at Villarrobledo Spain ...... This one got pretty noisey, I guess sometimes thats what needs to come out in order to "evolve" ....... Vinatek 2017 was massive, playing on the biggest multi-rig was a joy but also pretty hard work ... especially at the start as there was a faulty signal cable going into the amplifiers that needed to get fixed before I could take off but I was standing bang on the middle of the field with my machines and all was ok from my side, nottin I could do but wait till the problem was solved .... turned out someone had disconnected the right signal tripping over the cable, one of my mates found the issue, "woke up" the right side of the 100kw soundsystemwall and made me smile again :) Then it was time to slowly "tweak" the mixer outputs as the speakerwall was made up of 5 separate systems and each sounded different with me standing at the sweetspot in the middle ... it's a problem / challenge that is allways present when you play live, speakerwalls are like humans, each one is unique .... the challenge when you play live is that once you focus on getting certain sounds "right" you might "forget" about other sounds that are present in the mix and might actually need changing or tweaking too ... it's actually pretty hard work but once you're "in" and absorbed by the frequencies ... the charge-discharge process takes off and "work" becomes a big journey of discovery and fun ! Certain voicesamples come back more than once, and if you were there you'll know why ... recordings like this are "tuned" and created in the moment and that;s what the moment asked for .... tuning in, turning on and dropping bass is what makes me tick see you at the next one :) enjoy .....

Totally unexpected I got a chance to setup my machines and join forces with Acid Operator on the saturday night of the Ground Zero Teknocamp weekender in Borken, after some starting up issues were dealt with, we took off for the next 2,5 hours ... enjoy the ride !
