Hashem Eloheino, phonetically from the Hebrew "The Name Almighty", is the name of a larger suite of pieces that can most closely be described as "Jewish praise" to G-d. This piece is a grateful reflection on my mother Roshleika (Yiddish), Vered Bat Shlomo (Hebrew name - Rose daughter of Salomon) 1925-1999.

In the Jewish Sephardic musical tradition, which has almost no similarities with the klezmer of the Yiddish tradition, musical instruments are used from surrounding musical cultures from North Africa, the Middle East. Flutes, duduk and zorna in various designs. These are not "natural secondary instruments" for me as a trumpet player, who, despite my Jewish roots, was raised in the European classical music tradition. / Salomon Helperin
