  4. 13

  6. 11

Episode 11: A Masterpiece and a Work in Progress

We live in a world of uncertainty, where the future remains a mystery waiting to unfold. But amidst this unpredictability, there's one constant we can always rely on – ourselves. "You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously." — Sophia Bush In Episode 10, I shared about Human Being not Human doing… But we can have both. IN order for this to happen though, we have to work on ourselves by the other principal, growth over grind.

  7. 10

    Episode 10: 8 Words

Sometimes some words mean more than you know. We may have heard them before, just not in the meaning that they are given. Listening to and understanding them is key; the people who deliver those words to you are more important to us than we think because they have you in their best interests.

  8. 9

    Episode 9: A Secret

I really don’t have a secret. It is more tied to a book. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. It has always been in stacks of books on a bookshelf. Gathering dust.  It had been some time since my wife and I separated, but we still talk. About a month after 12-28-23 I was tired one night so I laid down and fell asleep quickly with the Tv on. It was early for me, around 845. Something woke me up around 945, something in a dream.

  9. 8

Episode 8: Did I tell you I’m Sorry?

There is a scene in Season one of Ted lasso where Ted mentions that “We Can’t change the past, but we can choose to honor it.” So far I have talked about the change and how to really see if it is needed, the one thing I should mention is that we need to honor the past.  We have to own up to the part we played in our past. Owning it means that we have acknowledged it and embraced it, but are ready to move forward.  There is a huge step in the change process that ties directly into this.  We have to apologize to ourselves.

  10. 7

Episode 7 … Embrace your story

We keep seeing the gurus, the people who are all about change, Gary Vee and Tony Robbins talk about embracing your story.  Sounds great, but I am willing to bet that way more people are confused as to what their story is than being able to embrace it.  Embrace and accept is same thing in this case. If you are happy in your life, then accept that, embrace it. If you are not, then change it. Your life, your story does not need to be the same at 25 and 45. That is the great thing about being human. Only you can define what happiness looks like for you. Only you can make the changes in your life that affect you.

  11. 6

Episode 6 ... So what, Who cares.

So what. Who cares… One of the biggest changes that I had to get through last year was so what, who cares. Why share this with you? Hopefully to help you understand that you are what matters. You are the important one. You are the one that has to accept your change.

  12. 5

    Episode 5…. Realizations

Realizing we need change is not easy. Usually, it happens due to circumstances that have affected our lives. There are times, like for me, when the circumstances were self-inflicted during a self-reflection.  Normally though it will take something that affects our everyday lives and then we decide it’s time to act… or in reality React.  What would happen if you went on the offensive here… and realized you needed to change before something damaging happened? How would that look in your world?

  13. 4

    Twelve2823 ~ The Early years ~ Episode 2

Leading up to Twelve2823 and the change, I had a good life. It was not bad. Like everyone, I had ups and downs. But I was lost.

  14. 3

    Twelve2823 ~ The Reason ~ Episode 1

We do not know what will happen in the future. This means not only next year, next month or even next week. The future is the time after the past and present. Therefore we do not know what will happen in the next 60 seconds.

  15. 2

    Twelve2823 ~ The Day of ~ Episode 4

So far I have shared how I ended up at 12-28-23 and some of my life.  My day started like any other.

  16. 1

    Twelve2823 ~ The world changes ~ Episode 3

In January of 2020, I read the news on Yahoo and MSN like I did every day.  I did this to see what was affecting business, the markets and in turn our industry.  Something was going on in China. People were getting sick, and they were instituting something called “Lockdowns” on entire cities.  Since the travel industry is international, I told my team one January afternoon at our meeting that this will thing called Covid-19 was going to affect us, somehow and someway.  I just was not sure how.
