Two Dudes Talkin'
by Kenneth
Two Dudes Talkin' is just that. Victor and I have been friends for a long time and we decided to turn our conversations on diverse (and sometimes inane) topics into a podcast. We hope you enjoy the conversations as much as we do!

Deficit Spending and the Reserve Currency Trap
In this episode, Victor and I get into the weeds a little bit on discussing the global economic situation and some of the policies and decisions that have brought us to this point. The current conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran are forcing governments to make difficult decisions to lessen the economic impact on their citizens, further increasing their deficits.

What's Going On in the War With Iran?
In this episode, Victor and I try to make some sense on what is happening in the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran. Some things just don't seem to make any sense, especially from a politically and militarily strategic point of view, but we do our best. Netanyahu benefits from the conflict, but in the big picture, China could ultimately be the winner here, especially as the Trump administration continues to alienate US allies.

Corpus Christi as a Metaphor for Global Warming
In this episode, Victor takes us through a discussion of the imminent water shortage facing the city of Corpus Christi. The city is on the Gulf Coast of Texas and has approximately 500,000 residents. Petrochemical plants account for roughly half of the city's water use. City leaders have known for years and have been warned repeatedly about the looming water shortage and have not taken any substantive action to address it, and now the city is faced with the very real possibility of running out of water in the very near future.

The William A Lawson Institute for Peace and Prosperity - Podcasthon
It's here, the episode Victor and I have been preparing to release for Podcasthon 2026! The charity we have chosen to discuss is the William A Lawson Institute for Peace and Prosperity. We start off by talking about William A Lawson and the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church and then transition into the Institute for Peace and Prosperity and how they are helping and giving back to the community, from their charter schools to help young men and women build a solid educational foundation, their criminal justice arm that provides legal services to those in need, to senior living facilities to provide community and care for seniors. We hope you will support some of the charities featured in Podcasthon 2026!

How Did You Meet Your Closest Friends?
In this episode, Victor and I talk about how we met and how our friendship developed and how we have kept it going over the years. Our hope is that you will take some time to reflect on your friendships and what they mean to you, and maybe even reach out to a friend or two who you haven't heard from in a while. Making friends is not easy and we appreciate the friends we have, both old and new. Thank you for listening and we appreciate that also.
