We discuss what we did over the weekend and how we handled my (Roy) daughter’s Birthday during Covid. Then we went Into the subject of burnout! We shared our experiences!

I (Roy) am very passionate about this topic. It just close to home and we go into discussion about our experiences in youth and adulthood.

We were pumped up on this episode. We were going to resume talking about the previous discussion but Dwate has some things on his mind and we got into it. In addition we talk about other issues that affect our community, families and ourselves.

We discuss and share our thoughts on what’s happening in the world. We both shared our testimony how racism was cut short from early on

It’s been 3 months since we’ve been in quarantine. I ( Roy) took a family trip to Florida as they eased restrictions. Great connecting with Dwate, we have decided to take podcast in a different direction reaching out to parents with children on the spectrum but also being part of a wider genre; we have a lot more we want to share and talk about.

After a good while of not being able to get together to do another podcast, we finally managed to squeeze some time to talk. We had been trying to create the topic of relationships and dealing with autism. It turns out one podcast is not enough to talk about this subject so we will have to create another episode; possibly a third one two.

We have been trying to get this podcast going for some time but due to personal, family and work schedules it hasn’t been the easiest but we had a chance over the holiday weekend and found some time. We wanted to just put our first recording out their. We plan our production to evolve as we go along, but wanted to get this podcast going.
