Some conversations are light, some will get real, and some surprise us - but all of them are genuine. Life, sisterhood, and everything in between.

Pets, Back Pain & Rainy Day Chaos
After a week off thanks to Yashua’s back acting up (because apparently this is what being in your 30s is like), Yashua and Ashley catch up on life. They talk about how HelloFresh has made weeknight dinners easier, why they always add extra seasoning, and how The Farmer’s Dog led into today’s topic: pets.Yashua shares a recent health scare with her 13-year-old Cocker Spaniel, BearPaw, that led to switching dog food, while Ashley talks about her lab, Feeny, and Yashua's "grandchild" Frank the Tank. And because it’s them… they keep getting distracted by the rain outside while recording.

Sciatica, Selling Houses & Am I The Asshole?
Quick life update: our backs are fighting us. Yashua may have re-aggravated her sciatica, Ashley says her back hurts from “carrying her job,” and apparently we might need Biofreeze, Tiger Balm, or entirely new chairs. Send help.Yashua shares the emotional rollercoaster of getting ready to relist her house — new listing photos, pre-approvals, and possibly house shopping in New York. She’s nervous about repeating the last experience and getting her hopes up again. Then we dive into today’s chaos: Reddit’s Am I the Asshole? Yashua reads, Ashley judges, and then we compare her verdict to what Reddit decided. There’s a tangent about the importance of names, an unexpected Puerto Rican pride moment, and Yashua getting distracted trying to sign a listing contract mid-episode.We wrap with something simple but important: let your kids express themselves freely in their own home.Pain, property, pride, and petty internet drama — just another episode.

We Needed Each Other
This episode gets vulnerable.Yashua opens up emotionally, and Ashley follows as we talk about needing support but not knowing how to ask for it. Growing up independent and self-sufficient shaped our relationship in ways we didn’t realize — sometimes making love feel like a responsibility instead of a choice. We also dive into pathological envy, malicious envy, insecurity, and the attractiveness halo effect — and how comparison culture quietly fuels resentment. If you struggle with communication, independence, or hidden jealousy, this one’s for you.

Teen Pregnancy, Period Stigma & Double Standard
We’re back after missing last Wednesday and Friday (Yashua’s sciatica flare-up had her OUT), and this episode goes from recovery mode to real-life debates fast.We break down TLC’s Unexpected and the reality of teen pregnancy — including the 13-year-old father and the 15-year-old mother preparing for a baby. Why does society still place most of the blame on teen moms while teen dads are allowed to “live their life”? Ashley talks about the lack of open conversations between parents and kids, and Yashua calls out the double standards young women face. Then we zoom out into the larger stigma women deal with daily — especially around periods and the pressure to hide something completely natural. Why are we still whispering about tampons like it’s a crime? And because we can’t stay serious for too long… yes, we address the viral “cooter muffins” conversation that Instagram decided we all needed to see.Teen pregnancy. Accountability. Period stigma. Internet chaos. It’s layered. It’s honest. It’s us.

Snack Behavior
Today’s episode is a safe space for strange food behavior. From strawberry milk + Ritz cracker cereal energy to Ashley taking apart burgers like she’s on a cooking show no one asked for — we’re unpacking the habits we refuse to outgrow. We’re talking food rituals, odd combos, childhood tendencies that stuck, and the line between “this is valid” and “straight to jail.”Prepare to question your own plate

We Brought It Back to Rom-Coms, Okay?
Valentine’s Day. Not Valentimes. Please learn how to spell before you buy heart-shaped candy. This week we start off debating the real red flag of the season: couples who sit on the same side of the booth. Why? Who are you hiding from? Is the wall part of the relationship? We have questions. Then, like any normal podcast, we aggressively pivot into sports movies.Yashua goes full motivational locker room speech over Miracle (2004, Disney, 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team… yes, she knows the year, yes, don’t get her started). If you hear “AGAIN!” yelled at any point, just mind your business. Meanwhile, Ashley is over here defending the holy trinity: The Sandlot, Rookie of the Year, and The Mighty Ducks — which Yashua absolutely does not respect. At all. From there we spiral into underrated vs. overrated movies, actors who deserved better, actors who maybe got a little too much, and cinematic hot takes no one asked for.And somehow — beautifully, chaotically — we bring it back to romance. From The Prince & Me to The Wedding Date, we prove this episode was Valentine’s-adjacent the whole time. Obviously. So grab a drink, celebrate Galentine’s with the girls (wink), and enjoy another completely unhinged but somehow connected episode.

Two Sisters And...Would You Rather?
This episode is unstructured chaos in its purest form. We threw logic out the window and let our brains wander into the most absurd, unnecessary, and wild questions out there. There is no theme. No moral lesson. No productivity. Just spirals, strong opinions about things that don’t matter. It’s fast. It’s random. It makes zero sense. And somehow it all connects… kind of.If you like your podcasts slightly unhinged, mildly concerning, and powered entirely by intrusive thoughts — this one’s for you

Two Sisters And... Weekend Update
We’re catching up on the weekend because we missed Friday (Ashley was too tired and fully passed out on the couch). From a failed second-grade dance and a devastated 8-year-old (no mac & cheese balls ) to Ashley’s low-key birthday weekend (Woot 35… don’t talk about it).Saturday took a dark turn at a Serial Killer Exhibition—fascinating, unsettling, 10/10 facts—followed by a very unserious attempt to recover at a “cute” coffee shop with sold-out pastries, display-only treats, and overpriced mid matcha.Sunday was rest for Ashley, family chaos for Yashua (indoor playgrounds, feral children, and trampolines), and the Benito Bowl where PR pride was LOUD and PROUD. Ricky Martin moved Ashley, Lady Gaga was shaky, Benito killed it.We wrap with unhinged Taylor Swift internet discourse because of course we do. What a weekend.

Two Sisters And...Heavy Talks, Light Detours
We start the episode not knowing what we’re going to talk about—and somehow end up exactly where we needed to be.Yashua opens up about her therapy journey, her relationship with food, disordered eating thoughts, and the daily struggle with the scale. Ashley shares her concerns, her gratitude for these conversations, and why speaking openly matters—without letting things spiral. As always, the heaviness doesn’t stay heavy for long. We drift into lighter chaos: gift-giving debates, Ashley turning 35 this Saturday (even though she doesn’t believe in making birthdays a big deal), and Yashua doing the absolute most about birthdays. We spiral into TV tropes, random observations, and yes—another editing glitch in the name of protecting Yashua’s son.Honest, messy, reflective, and chaotic in the end—just the way this podcast works.

Two Sisters And....Puerto Rico
We’re recapping our whirlwind Puerto Rico trip—from waking up at 5am for an early flight to coworkers drinking for hours on end . We get into beach days with local food, eating by the water, and moments of real relaxation… balanced out by very overstimulating, mandatory five-hour company dinners that may or may not have driven people to drink. We talk about a packed rainforest excursion—rock slides, cliff jumps, rope swings, and surviving five hours in the jungle. Yashua opens up about the guilt of being gone for long stretches while Ashley was left alone in the room, and what it felt like returning to the island after 16 years without fully getting to enjoy it. From visiting the El Morro to doing the most Puerto Rican thing possible—kite flying—we reflect on what connection to home really looks like.Yashua shares thoughts on better ways to do company bonding: excursions that actually let people experience a place—salsa lessons, food tours, rum tours—not just long dinners where she feels like she has to be “on” the entire time. Ashley dives into why people should want to learn and experience local culture and food, not just travel for the sake of saying they went—especially in Puerto Rico, where so much love, history, and labor go into the food and the land. (Yes, she also side-eyes people who go to Italy and eat at Hard Rock.)A little chaotic, a little reflective, very Puerto Rican—and a lot to unpack.

Two Sisters And....In-Flight Entertainment
Airports bring out the best and worst in people—and we’re talking about all of it. From the folks who stand up to board before their zone is called, to the ones who pop up the second the plane lands, this episode is a full people-watching deep dive.Yashua confesses her undying love for airport snacks and beverages (yes, cranberry juice supremacy), plus the unmatched joy of watching movies she somehow missed for years. Her travel icks? Constant pilot interruptions and intercom announcements that sound like they were made underwater—why is it always so unintelligible? Is that a prerequisite to be a pilot?Ashley comes in hot with strong opinions and a ginger ale in hand. She loves it. Needs it. What she doesn’t love? The SunChips bags that are apparently portioned for ants. Zoolander ants. Like why is it two chips and vibes? Also on her no-fly list: people pulling seats to stand up and sprint to the bathroom. And middle seat armrest rules? If she’s in the middle, she’s claiming both—no negotiations. We also get into one of the most controversial airport moments: clapping when the plane lands. Some people hate it—but as Puerto Ricans, we love it. To us, it’s weird not to clap. That’s how we show gratitude for arriving safely, and yes, we’re standing ten toes down on that.We wrap it up with our upcoming trip to Puerto Rico—Yashua’s hesitation around company dinners and drinking, Ashley’s encouragement to advocate for yourself, and our shared belief that traveling somewhere new just to eat food you can get at home is a total slap in the face.Buckle up—it’s opinions, snacks, boundaries, culture, and airport chaos from takeoff to landing.

Two Sisters And...Soap, Side-Eye, and Sensory Chaos
In this episode, we talk hygiene—and quickly realize we are not the same.Ashley believes in daily showers, clean kids, clean hands, and the holy ritual of fresh sheets + a freshly showered body. Working in a daycare, she’s seen what happens when bathing gets skipped—and she has thoughts.Yashua? Sometimes forgets to shower. Sometimes forgets to brush her teeth. Did she do that on Monday? No one knows. But plot twist: she’s showering every day in 2026 and deserves applause.Somehow, we spiral into smell talk—Yashua can smell sneezes, mud, and when her husband is mouth breathing. Ashley asks the important question: is there a name for this? (Yes. Yes there is.)Soap, side-eye, and sensory chaos. You’re welcome.

Two Sisters And....Fashion, Anklets & Accidental Book Deals?
Fashion is cyclical… and apparently a little chaoticIn this episode, Yashua and Ashley dive headfirst into the trends reportedly making a comeback in 2026—and yes, we have thoughts. We break down everything from Gothic Romanticism and Y2K athleisure to the full-on Tumblr revival (think tights, ballet flats, and all the best—aka worst—memories from 2016). We also unpack librarian chic, what we secretly love about it, and what should absolutely stay buried in the past (low-rise jeans and whale tails, we’re looking directly at you). Underwear-as-outerwear? Briefs as shorts? We discuss… reluctantly. Both of us reminisce about our younger fashion eras—what we wore, what we thought we were doing, and how those phases shaped our personal style today. Yashua shares her lifelong love of matching outfits, while giving Ashley her flowers for always having a natural flair for fashion. Ashley explains her obsession with creating themes and building outfits that tell a story. And then… things take a turn. What starts as a conversation about anklets (Ashley has always wanted one, Yashua absolutely does not get the appeal) somehow spirals into Yashua pitching an entire fictional book series on the spot. We introduce Destiny “DeeDee”, a barefoot-loving girl who summers in the Hamptons, carries a mysterious family secret, and wears an anklet she’s been told never to take off. Enter Bradford (Brad)—a boy working at a shoe store, a chance encounter, undeniable chemistry… and secrets of his own.As DeeDee and Brad run toward the beach—her favorite place—“The Great Escape” by Boys Like Girls plays in the background. Her anklet (a gift from her parents) touches the water and—Book 1 ends.Is DeeDee a narwhal? What is Brad hiding? Will Book 2 live entirely in DeeDee’s inner thoughts? We don’t have answers. We do have a title. Book 1: The AnkletFashion talk, nostalgia, unhinged creativity, and an accidental literary moment—this episode has it all.

Two Sisters And....The Gifted Kid Curse (With a Side of Vabbing)
In this episode, we unpack what it really means to be labeled a “gifted kid” — and how that shiny title followed us (and sometimes haunted us) into adulthood.Yashua kicks things off with the unexpected return of TLC’s My Strange Addiction and a truly unhinged segment about vabbing (yes… that thing where pheromones are allegedly applied behind the ears and wrists). Ashley is immediately horrified, disgusted, and questioning reality. From there, we dive headfirst into our gifted kid lore: Ashley skipping a grade, earning $500, and never getting to live out her dream of seeing the Backstreet Boys during the Millenium days. Yashua opens up about almost flunking out of college once there was no one left to force her to go — turns out being “smart” doesn’t come with a manual for adulthood.Somewhere between Backstreet Boys heartbreak and college burnout, we pause for an important announcement: we got BTS concert tickets. Bangtan Boys in New Jersey. Dreams really do come true.We also talk about the realities of raising a child who is academically gifted, the pressure that comes with it, and how to do better than what we experienced. And because this is us, we end the episode discussing our knees. Yashua has a mysterious bone sticking out of her right knee, Ashley claims she has “meat grinder knees,” and honestly… why not?Gifted kids, burnout, BTS, bad knees, and absolute nonsense — all in one episode

Two Sisters And....The Gym, the Diets, and the Sports Bra That Tried to Kill Me
In this episode, we’re talking Gym Do’s & Don’ts—the unspoken rules, the side-eye moments, and the things people really need to stop doing. From there, we dive into nutrition, diet culture, and why extremes like juice cleanses and fasting can be more harmful than helpful. Spoiler alert: we’re team just eat your food and stop living your life in restriction.Yashua kicks things off already heated after surviving Atlanta traffic—nearly getting rear-ended and cut off before the episode even starts —and later desperately asks for sports bra recommendations after ripping hers off mid-recording, grunting, and announcing she felt like she was being slowly suffocated by a boa constrictor.Ashley gets real about the mental toll of constantly being bombarded with other people’s diets, advice, and “why won't this work for me?” stories—and how exhausting it is when nothing seems to work the same way for everyone.Somehow, we also take a detour to Puerto Rico, talking about the El Yunque hike, where Ashley decides she’s opting out—not because she can’t do it, but because she doesn’t want to feel like people are waiting on her. Beach chair and hotel pool > forced struggle. It’s messy, honest, funny, and very us. Come for the gym talk, stay for the sports bra rant and life tangents.

Two Sisters And...Good Coffee, Bad Coffee, Worse Editing
In this episode, we spill all the beans on the many coffee shops we’ve visited—what we ordered, what we loved, what we didn’t love, and a few treats still sitting on our “next time” list. From standout drinks to pastries that live rent-free in our minds, we break down what actually makes a coffee shop a hit for us… and what turns it into a one-and-done. Atmosphere, service, vibes, consistency—nothing is off the table.Fair warning: there’s a noticeably awkward gap in the audio at one point. That’s because Yashua accidentally said her child’s name, immediately panicked, deleted the clip to protect his privacy, and—since she is not an audio editor—left us with a choppy transition. Our apologies. We promise it’s not your headphones. It’s just parenting + podcasting + a little chaos. Enjoy anyway !

Two Sisters And..... The Market, Apparently
In this episode, we reflect on our attempt to sell our home from September to December 2025—and everything the experience taught us. We talk about the expectations we had going into the process versus the reality we faced, including limited private showings, the absence of open houses, and the growing realization that we were carrying more of the emotional and logistical load than we anticipated. We also explore the quiet hardships of living in a home that’s constantly “for sale.” How it changes the way you exist in your own space, how exhausting it is to stay perpetually ready with a kid and three dogs, and how that limbo affects your sense of stability. While we’re fully aware of our home’s cosmetic imperfections, we discuss the disappointment of realizing how often buyers aren’t encouraged to look beyond surface flaws or fully understand a home’s potential.Ultimately, this episode is about learning to recalibrate expectations, recognizing when something isn’t aligned, and understanding that sometimes stepping back isn’t failure—it’s clarity.

Two Sisters and...K-Pop
This episode is a full-on love letter to K-pop. From heavy hitters like BTS, ATEEZ, Seventeen, and EXO to underrated gems like ONEWE, ONEUS, and LUCY, we’re talking music, fandom, and everything in between. We get into why concerts are our safe space, the unmatched sense of community, our biases (because yes, we have them), and the shows that didn’t hit the way we hoped — and why. We also touch on the mental health stigma idols face and the unrealistic expectations placed on them behind the scenes.Plus, we have words about concert etiquette — including a friendly but firm plea: please buy tickets for one city so more fans can experience seeing their favorite groups live. K-pop is about connection, not competition.Whether you’re a seasoned stan or just K-pop curious, this episode is for you.

2 Sisters And...Body Image, Friendships & Other Plot Twists
In this episode, we get real about self-esteem and self-confidence—where it comes from, how it gets wrecked, and how we’re still trying to rebuild it. Ashley opens up about what it was like having little to no close friendships and how that isolation quietly shaped her confidence, or lack of. Yashua shares the opposite struggle: having friends, but never fully understanding why anyone would want to be friends with her in the first place. (Imposter syndrome, but make it social.)We also dig into how our mom’s own weight struggles and body dysmorphia impacted the way we see ourselves—because whether parents mean to or not, that stuff sticks. And then… things take a turn. Somehow we end up talking about Fight Club, Laverne & Shirley, Silence of the Lambs, and Yashua’s completely unhinged but deeply analyzed theory that if a white person is good, they age beautifully—and if they’re not, they age horribly (think Paul Rudd). Is it science? Sociology? Absolutely not. Is it entertaining? Definitely.Deep feelings, questionable theories, and the kind of conversation that only makes sense when you’re talking to your sister. 🎙️

Two Sisters And....Reality TV
This episode is a love letter to reality TV… and maybe a cry for help. We’re talking Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, House Hunters (aka “we’re 23 and buying a $900k home”), Bad Girls Club, and all the reality dating shows where love is found in 3 weeks and terrible decisions are encouraged. Why do we love watching other people’s chaos? Is it escapism, comfort, or just better than therapy? Probably all of the above. No shame, no judgment—just hot takes, nostalgia, and unapologetic reality TV obsession.Press play, grab snacks, and don’t worry… we’re judging the TV, not you

Two Sisters And.... Family
In this episode, we get real about the idea that family isn’t always defined by blood. We talk openly about why it’s perfectly okay to step back from blood family relationships that no longer serve you—and how choosing your own family can be an act of healing, not guilt. We share parts of our own family story, navigating big age gaps with siblings, having a mom with kids before us and a dad with kids after us, and how that shaped who we are and how we move through life. It’s an honest, validating conversation about boundaries, love, and creating the family you need

2 Sisters And...Jobs
In this episode, we talk about our real life work journeys - one as a pre-k teacher, the other as a personal injury case management lead. We share how we got here, the failures and job losses along the way, and the unsafe work environments that pushed us to rethink everything. We also dream out loud about what we actually want: the jobs we'd choose if fear, money, and expectations weren't in the way. If you have ever felt stuck, burned out, or unsure of your next move, this conversation is for you.
