Unscripting Liberation: Let's Talk About Severance!

if you’ve found this small corner of the internet, welcome! my name is zulaikha, i am a writer, storyteller, and liberation culture worker. i’m forever curious about how we are shifting culture together especially through the stories that we watch, read, and create! liberation is everywhere, and calling us to witness and partake. as audre lorde says, “to refuse to participate in the shaping of our future is to give it up. do not be misled into passivity either by false security (they don’t mean me) or by despair (there’s nothing we can do). each of us must find our work and do it.” this is our work! to see how story teaches us, and how we can find joy in liberatory work, because watching amazing shows, and getting to talk about them is fun! and liberation can be joyful. i think we all need some joy right about now. i hope you follow along, and can’t wait to catch you on the next one!
