UnStuck

My passion is to give leaders the tools they need to shift from an entrepreneurial mindset to the mindset of leading a thriving organization that works as a team. I talk from my own experience, and I interview leaders who are early-stage start-up founders. Tune in for unscripted (mostly), authentic conversations with leaders in the trenches.

    S1 E2 - 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Managing Director James Alisch

James Alisch is the Managing Director of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, a $500 million dollar brand of the O2E family of companies based in Vancouver, British Columbia. In his current role, James coaches, mentors, and trains hundreds of entrepreneurs all over North America and other parts of the world. But, James was once a young founder himself, having started a College Pro franchise while attending business school. In this episode, James shares his experiences as a founder - from 15-hour days, to dealing with unsatisfied customers, to the basic approach of getting out of bed each day to put one foot in front of the other to get the job done. You'll hear his wisdom and experience about how he got stuck and things he did to get UnStuck.

    S1 E1 - Rotessa founder Greg Lepp

In this episode, I have a conversation with Greg Lepp, the founder of Rotessa, a software company based in central Canada that helps their clients collect recurring payments. Since launching in 2010, Rotessa has processed over 1.5 million transactions worth over $500 million.  Greg's story is the journey from a great idea, to the difficulty of selling that idea, to building a team to support the growth of the idea, to eventual success. But, there were - and still are - things he gets stuck on. Hear Greg share how he got stuck early on and the key decisions he made to get UnStuck, and some of the ways he still gets stuck, and the strategies he implements to deal with those constant battles.

UnStuck - a Podcast for Founders - Trailer

My name is Stephen Pasiciel, and my passion is to give founders tools they need to shift from an entrepreneurial mindset to the mindset of leading an organization that works as a team. As entrepreneurs, and particularly founders in the early stages of our businesses, we're hyper-focused on growth; and that focus is usually on our product or service. But, we sometimes get stuck.  Listen to the trailer for more of what to expect in future episodes, and for how to get in touch with me. I'd love to connect with you. I'm looking forward to growing a community of founders getting unstuck.
