This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: They're baaaack! We'll also ask them what it takes to put on a convention. Then Dan will read an excerpt from his forthcoming novel, Agripina's Firstborn. Finally, Eva will take the myth of the white worm to a whole new level!

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: Don’t try this at home! We’ll talk with Professor John Edgar Browning who studied self-identified vampires in New Orleans who drink human and animal blood to sustain themselves. Then Eva will read an excerpt from her forthcoming novel, A Hellish Fury. Finally, Dan will review a 1990s film that uses vampirism as a metaphor for drug addiction.

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: Vampires ain't all city folk, so we'll feature Down Home Country Vampire, an anthology of rustic undead tales. We'll talk with two of the contributing authors. Also, Dan will share his research into a vampire he first encountered in a Dungeons & Dragons book. Finally, Eva will review a movie adapted from one of our all time favorite authors.

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: A family of aswang vampires moves from the Philippines to America. We'll talk with Jason Tanamor about his novel, Vampires of Portlandia. Then, in honor of their March birthdays, Eva and Dan will share their thoughts about a vampire film from each of their birth years. Yep, your Vamp Chat hosts will finally put a date on themselves!

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: a gun totin’, Camaro drivin’, roundhouse kickin’ vampire who goes by the name Law Unto Herself. We’ll talk with author Jennifer Barnes about her action packed novel. Then Eva will tell us whether vampires and humans can actually co-exist. Finally, Dan reviews a vampire film that begins with Bauhaus performing ”Bela Lugosi is dead.”

This week on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: JM Celi returns to talk about the second installment of his series, The Unlife of Lisa Cooper. Plus, Eva will tell us about sucking blood with fingers and toes.  She will also review Love at First Bite starring George Hamilton and Susan Saint James.

Payback is hell when Dan & Eva reverse the tables and put Sako & The Moon in the hot seat.  There’s no doubt they will pull out the skeletons from the coffins for a hilariously good time.  Then Dan will review the Cliff’s Notes version of the many, many, many episodes of Dark Shadows.  It’s a season opener you won’t want to miss.

Coming up on Vamp Chat with Dan & Eva: New York Times best-selling author, J.R. Ward, will join us for the final episode of Season 3. J.R. will talk about her Black Dagger Brotherhood series of novels which has been adapted by Passionflix. Is the series as steamy as the books? We’ll find out.  And Eva will review the new Dracula A Love Tale, currently out in Europe and to be released here in the States in January. It’s a great night all the way around!

She's Ve Neill and we'll talk with her about her career, her love of vampires, and what it's like being Hollywood horror royalty. Then Eva will review a 1987 film near and dear to Ve’s heart.

This week on VampChat with Dan & Eva: Disinterment & Dismemberment! Folklorist Michael Bell will share his research into vampire panics in New England and the time he was brought in to examine disarticulated human remains. Then, Eva will do a hilarious review of a 1977 film about Dracula’s best friend who also has a taste for human blood.

This week on VampChat with Dan & Eva: extreme horror from South Korea. We've invited Todd Sullivan, author of the novella Butchers which is set in Seoul and features bone-saw toting enforcers called the Natural Police. Then Eva will delve into accounts of revenants in 12th Century England. Finally, Dan will review a Swedish vampire film about a bullied boy and his mysterious new friend who appears to be a 12 YO girl.

He's the great grand-nephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker. He also wrote the sequel and prequel to that gothic masterpiece. Dacre Stoker is our next guest on VampChat and we're excited to talk about the aforementioned, plus the tour he'll lead this June to Transylvania. Then, to close the show, Eva will review a TV adaptation of...wait for it... Dracula!

Season 2 of VampChat will be extra fangtastic and we’re starting it off in Ep. 1 with James Heberger, author of Legacy of the Moon. This novel is about a mysterious psychiatric patient who, during therapy, reveals his true hybrid nature. Then Eva will share folklore about a grotesque blood-sucking creature from southeast Asia. Finally, Dan & Eva review the film and TV versions of What We Do in the Shadows. It's a special All Hallows Eve-Eve edition of VampChat with Dan & Eva.

Bloodsuckers, shape-shifters, a serpent god -- OH MY! We talk with Stephen Zimmer, author of Prowling the Darkness, part of his Rayden Valkyrie Tales series. We talk with Jacqueline Holland, author of a vampire novel which wins our award for Most Ominous Title: The God of Endings. Then Dan leads the "fanged folklore" segment by delving into a series of mass exhumations that led to the first mention of vampires in an official document.
