Devys Meli - Leviatan
PURCHASE @ https://variancetechno.bandcamp.com/album/leviathan-ep Variance are delighted to welcome Devys Meli to the label for our 39th instalment. Providing two excellent tracks in, the EP namesake, Leviathan, and Behemoth. Both tracks are floor destroyers with a distinct Devys Meli vibe, hammering kicks, crunchy percs, and great progressions, both tracks are grade A, and thats what you have come to expect from Variance, we will continue to provide. In line with the grade A sounds of the originals, we have 4 immense remixes, joining us for his second track we have Casper Hastings remixing Leviathan, and he has put his own trademark twist on it, a broken beat banger, that he has become renowned for, we are delighted to have him back with this immense remix. Also remixing Leviathan we have one of the main men on the label this year Saedem, so far this year he has a four track solo EP - Iter Funesta, an Iter Funesta Remixes EP (Including remixes from Luciano Lamanna, FLmm, Tolebham and Empyrean), and now he has provided his first remix for us, its one of his trademark smashers, a really incredible production, our pleasure to have him on for the third time this year. Last remixer of Leviathan is label head Scenedrone, he has provided a slower remix for this one to contrast, but it holds no bars, great progressions and a heavy kick to smash the floor. Last but most certainly not least, we have Leafeater remixing Behemoth, Leafeater has been on our radar for a few years now, and we are delighted to finally get him on remix duties for this EP, it most certainly will not be his last time on the label, we really hope you enjoy this smashing EP. [VAR038] Sædem - Letalis Præteritum (Tolebham Remix)
PURCHASE: https://variancetechno.bandcamp.com/album/iter-funesta-remixes Earlier this year Italian artist "SAEDEM" provided a groundbreaking, energetic and impressive release, featuring thoroughly unique and admirable production, with great technical skills, and variety throughout the whole ep, whilst still keeping to a distinguishable "sound". We are back for round two this time with "Iter Funesta Remixes", providing the remixes are four more Italian dynamos, we have the PLS.UK owners Empyrean and FLmm, Luciano Lamanna of Scuderia, and the Naples based duo Tolebham. Every act provided immense remakes of the already fantastic originals. Kicking off the EP we have FLmm remixing Impetum Caedes, to great effect, really making it his own, crunchy percs, rolling bass and eerie yet hammering synths, all tied together with immense use of effects, floor destroyer. Second up we have Tolebham, they did not hold back on this one, the hammering kick will get your blood boiled instantly, as it progresses the intensity rises and rises, great use of the atmospheric synth, more crunchy percs and the inclusion of an eerie melody on the breakdown, that develops into a rising tone, that never seems to stop, this is sure to send any club-goer demented, one for the books, timeless techno, like the rest of the EP. Third up on the EP is Empyrean, his kick is a bit cleaner, in nature only, the sub is phenomenal, and when the unexpected crazy crunchy synth smashes in on the breakdown the track lifts off, the percs are busy and the overall vibe is very upbeat, yet dark at the same time, we have been waiting a while to have him on Variance, it was worth the wait, and we will make sure he is back in the future. Last but most definitely not least we have Luciano Lamanna with another bone crunching remix, this is basement fodder, industrial rave, its very hard to put words on this track, it really is a special one, the synth is dominating, and the kick is not to be taken lightly, with demented use of percs, in a good way of course, this track rounds of a very very special remix EP, every track has its place in any set. So enjoy our thirty-eight release, and keep your eyes peeled, we are going from strength to strength, the end of 2018 will just be a taster of what to expect in 2019. credits released October 17, 2018 Original Tracks Written By: Marco Coscarella Remixed By: Track 1: Mino Murro Track 2: Giorgio Cerrato & Filippo Spina Faleri Track 3: Alessio Sologno Track 4: Luciano Lamanna Artwork By: Interferon Mastered By: Luke Creed

[VAR036] RNXRX - Moral Witness
PURCHASE: https://variancetechno.bandcamp.com/album/moral-witness-ep https://www.beatport.com/release/moral-witness-ep/2362989 Variance are proud to present our 36th release, this time we welcome to the crew, Barcelona based artist, RNXRX, with an incredible five track EP. Broken, Nosey, Industrial Techno is on the cards for this release, with a lot of variation throughout the EP. A "Sound artist, producer and DJ born in Argentina and raised in Italy, and living in Spain." RNXRX is not new to making mutant industrial techno noise, he caught our eye a few years ago, at Variance we feel as though he is destined for big things, and we are happy to finally have a release from this incredible artist. Moral Witness EP is crammed full of bangers, each track brings a different vibe to the table, but with a very distinct sound, that has been years in the making, this young producer will grace us again, thats a certainty. Kicking off with the title track "Moral Witness" a beautiful broken beat banger, sets the tone for the whole EP, ebbing and flowing with perfection. Followed up by "Orphan Locust", hard as nails, Industrial strength banger with eerie vocals throughout, really not to be missed, the whole release is just fantastic. Onwards from that we have the first four on the floor banger, Ancestral Data Memory System III. While being a straight up banger it also has a unique groove, and continues with the authentic originality of the previous two, these are tracks that can only be made by RNXRX, his mind, his art. Finishing off the EP we have two mixes of "_Eve of Iron (IVVI)" both of which keep on the "theme", intentional or not, of the EP, smashing through the walls of perception into another plain of sound. The "Reload Mix" being a lot slower then the "Original Mix" it flows fantastically and finishes the EP off with a demented twist. This EP is one to behold. RNXRX is just getting started. 01. Æmris - Puri
Variance are delighted to welcome AEmris aboard our artist roster. This young Italian producer absolutely blew us away with his constant unique demos. We had an incredibly hard time picking the five we settled on. AEmris is a young producer hailing from Putignano in the province of Bari in Italy, as we have come to know, Italy has provided us with some amazing producers over the years, and I think AEmris will go down as one of the greats, at the young age of 21, and this being his first LP, he is off to a good start. Five amazing originals of varying styles, from the flow of "Puri" and "Troath" to the insanely programmed "Nameless" and fast paced "Demise". This producer flaunted his stuff, we took notice, and this EP is the result. Joining AEmris on this EP are two artists that are no strangers to Variance, we are ecstatic to welcome back Vlaysin for his third release and second remix on our imprint, and again he brought his A game with an incredible pounding remix of "Nameless". Secondly, our resident Scenedrone was more then happy to remix "Troath", the results speak for themselves. This EP is a special one. credits released March 1, 2017 Written & Produced by: Antonello Trisolini Remixes by: Octave Sylvain & Luke Creed Mastered By: Luke Creed Artwork By: INTERFERON

OLVR/KCRA - GHSTS (Unknown Artist Remix)
PURCHASE @ https://variancetechno.bandcamp.com/al... Variance welcome back Mr. Kucera, for one last bash of his OLVR/KCRA pseudonym. We have provided. He gave us two absolutely amazing original tracks in CHNGL and GHSTS, we decided to get our residents Scenedrone and Sur+ on remix duties, and as we expected, they did atrociously magnificent jobs. Then we were introduced to this wonderful young producer named Unknown Artist. We listened and his originals were awesome, so we asked him to remix this EP. The result is out of this world, winding synth, with a banging kick, the whole package is magnificent. The addition of Unknown Artist just is the icing on the cake.
