    This week's guest on View From The Byline is Manveen Rana, the new host of the Times Radio's 'Stories of our Times' podcast. She first broke onto the scene with an insightful, first-person account of what a family of immigrants went through as herself and the family travelled from the Middle East to Europe in a plight for safety.     Jim Waterson

    When it comes to varied writing styles, Jim Waterson has quite the experience looking at his CV. Since starting out with business paper City AM, Jim has gone on to be Political Editor for BuzzFeed UK and, more recently, has become the Media Editor at The Guardian. In the latest episode of View From The Byline, Jim discusses what it was like to work for BuzzFeed at a time when their reputation within the media was rapidly becoming more respectable; his current role in scrutinising the media while working for The Guardian and how he fried an egg using sunlight reflected off a skyscraper all in the name of getting a news story.     Stuart Watson

    Since graduating from university in Bournemouth, Stuart Watson has become a well-known name within the football world of Suffolk and it's bordering counties. Starting out as a sports journalist covering grassroots football for the East Anglian Daily Times back in 2006, Stuart has progressed to report on Colchester United before finally becoming Chief Football Writer with the paper - taking a primary focus on the day-to-day activities of Ipswich Town.
