"Supermassive Something"
One of my favorite new groups matched against one of my least favorite performers. Hey, at least they've found some common ground with this one. "The Hustle Slide"
I've always wanted to put these two together: that iconic line dance from the 70's with the latest line dance from the new millennium. Slip on your dancing shoes and get in line... "The Hustle Slide" featuring: "The Hustle" by Van McCoy "The Cha-Cha Slide" by Mr.C (aka DJ Casper) Mobile DJ's: I've already tested this with kids (who approve) and older audiences (who prefer it to the original). THIS mix makes the Cha Cha Slide more palatable to older audiences who are not crazy about the original's bass drone! So......PLAY IT!

40
"Turning Sukiyaki"
Here's what always seems to happen: what seems to me a natural pairing seems odd or near impossible to others. So it goes with this one. When making something like this, it's perhaps better to have a BONZAI attitude. If it makes you feel any better, think of this as an aural California Roll. "Turning Sukiyaki" featuring: "Turning Japanese" - The Vapors "Sukiyaki" - Kyu Sakamoto Arigato!
-
39
"The Way You Make Me Honky Tonk"
The Bill Doggett classic from 1956 and Jacko's best from 'Bad' together at last. Another Oldies meets Old School."The Way You Make Me Honky Tonk"featuring:"The Way You Make Me Feel" - Michael Jackson"Honky Tonk, Parts I & II" - Bill DoggettHEE-hee!

32
"Super Mario Booty"
It started out pretty much for laughs, but friends tell me this is actually 'something'. What? I don't know - but although it is merely a rap over a groove, it does seem to fit pretty well. And it might even induce a smile..."Super Mario Booty"featuring:"Miss New Booty" - Bubba Sparxxx"Super Mario Bros." themes...now stop throwing those turtle shells at me!- Voicedude

The Bittles - "Because"
My very talented daughter Brittany (known to family and friends as 'Bitty') got obsessed with the Across The Universe soundtrack and recorded an acapella version of "Because" by The Beatles on her Arizona Stop MySpace website. I took her acapella and mixed with the original Beatles tracks, and the result is a new group: The Bittles! The Bittles - "Because"featuring The Beatles and Brittany 'Bitty' Hammond

"War Bombs '08"
A very UN-happy Fifth Anniversary!I can't believe we are still in this unjust profit venture we call the Iraq War. When I made my first post here one year ago, I never dreamed we'd still be stuck in it. So while holding my peace high (and lowering the index finger just for 'W'), I present this year's version of last year's mashup. It's called "War Bombs '08" ...and it mashes the following songs:"You Dropped A Bomb On Me" by Gap Band "War" by Edwin Starr "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath "Bombs Over Baghdad" by Outkastand now, "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight OilWe have all suffered through FIVE years of this piece of Shi'ite war! Since music not only has the power to entertain but ALSO to make us think, I dedicate this with total love, respect, and support to the troops who've been unnecessarily put in harm's way.Comments are always welcome....Peace.- Voicedude

"Dreidel All The Way"
I took "Channukah Rap" by Disney Records' children's recording artist Craig & Co. and used it as the base jam, and then added "Jingle Bells" by the Three Weissmen along with cuts from "Get Your Dreidel On" by Pudie Tadow, "Hannukah Song" by Adam Sandler, a children's version of "O, Channukah", and the classic "Harvey And Sheila" by Allan Sherman. The resulting combination could make you plotz! Oy! I should lay off the Manischewitz!

"Imagine Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"
First imagine an unexpected visit during a cold winter's day from a old friend who was taken away from us so many Decembers ago....Now imagine the warm, fuzzy kum-by-yah feeling of John Lennon's perennial "Imagine" spread over a light, jazzy seasonal flavor of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", with a little help from Rockapella. If Lennon had gone Lounge.......
