One of my favorite new groups matched against one of my least favorite performers. Hey, at least they've found some common ground with this one. I've always wanted to put these two together: that iconic line dance from the 70's with the latest line dance from the new millennium. Slip on your dancing shoes and get in line... "The Hustle Slide" featuring: "The Hustle" by Van McCoy "The Cha-Cha Slide" by Mr.C (aka DJ Casper) Mobile DJ's: I've already tested this with kids (who approve) and older audiences (who prefer it to the original). Here's what always seems to happen: what seems to me a natural pairing seems odd or near impossible to others. So it goes with this one. When making something like this, it's perhaps better to have a BONZAI attitude. If it makes you feel any better, think of this as an aural California Roll. I took "Channukah Rap" by Disney Records' children's recording artist Craig & Co. and used it as the base jam, and then added "Jingle Bells" by the Three Weissmen along with cuts from "Get Your Dreidel On" by Pudie Tadow, "Hannukah Song" by Adam Sandler, a children's version of "O, Channukah", and the classic "Harvey And Sheila" by Allan Sherman. The resulting combination could make you plotz! Oy! I should lay off the Manischewitz!
