Vowels and Consonants

In this first program about vowels and consonants in English, we will practice on the correct pronunciation of the alphabet, in order to introduce you to the American language pronunciation.   First show activities   1.      Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about the alphabet in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.      In the second activity students must search for a couple of words which begins with each letter of the English alphabet, and pronunciate them, practicing what they have learnt.

On this program we will work on the correct pronunciation of the A and E vowels of the English alphabet.   Second show activities   1.      Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about the A and E vowels sounds in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.      In the second activity students must practice with some words the pronunciation of the A and E vowels.

The third program will develops the different sound and pronunciation of the I and O vowels of the English alphabet   Third show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about the I and O vowels sounds in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.       In the second activity, students must look for some professions beginning with I and O vowels, in order to practice the pronunciation of them.

On the fourth program we will introduce you to the different sounds of the U vowel of the English alphabet, so as we will help you to improve your pronunciation in the same.   Fourth show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about the U vowel sounds in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.       In the second activity students must search some words which contain the U, in order to practice its pronunciation.

This fifth program will improve your contractions pronunciation of English words, so as it will keep practice on the vowels pronunciation.   Fifth show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop skills in the pronunciation of the contraction used in English.   2.       In the second activity students must write some sentences which contain contractions in order to practice them, as the vowels pronunciation.

The sixth program will work on the accentuation of the words on English, so as it will keep working on the previous topics.   Sixth show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop skills for their pronunciation in the accents of the words in English.   2.       For the second activity, students must have a dictionary in order to random the search of some words in English, and pronounce them with the correct accentuation.

This program will practice on the English intonation, giving some clues to the students in order to improve their pronunciation.   Seventh show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about the intonation in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.       As a second activity, the students must search some words in any source, and mark the correct intonation of these words and pronounce them.

In this program students will practice the pronunciation of the singular and plurals in English   Eight show activities   1.       Repeat after me, in this activity the students will develop knowledge about singular and plurals in English in order to improve their pronunciation skills.   2.       In this second activity students must look for some words and pronounce their singular and plural form, in order to practice the previous lesson.

In this program you would be able to listen to an extract of the movie "Inside Man", looking for your practice of what we have seen until today in context. Ninth show activities     1.       Listening activity, in this activity the students will listen to an extract of the movie American Gangster, in order to practice what they have learned so far.   2.       As a second activity it is propose to students to make their own conversation using the tool given so far.
