The NBA is back! An unprecedented three NBA seasons have taken place in the last calendar year, and the 2021/22 season is upon us. The first week of the NBA playoffs are done. Some series are over (RIP Toronto and Indiana) and some are just getting started. And Playoff P is having some troubles. You love to see it.

The gang is all here! We got Dr Man, Crawdaddy and Rob Greer coming in the clutch. The NBA bubble games are winding down, playoff seeds are getting set, but there's still lots of drama and excitement, especially in the race for the 8th seed!  This episode is brought to you by absolutely nobody.

The 19-20 NBA Awards being limited to the first 60 games of the regular season that ended on March 11, we sat down and made our picks for Most Improved Player, Sixth Man of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Most Valuable Player.

Dr Man and I are flying on our own this week. We make some predictions about the upcoming NBA restart that we will surely go back and make fun of each other about come October when everything is said and done.

This week we really test the limits of what can even be considered a basketball movie. 

In 1966 Don Haskins made history by having the first all-black starting five in NCAA history . 2006's GLORY ROAD tells the story of how the team was assembled, how Coach Haskins motivated the team to play together, and the struggles they had to overcome internally and externally to get to the 1966 NCAA National Championship game against Adloph Rupp and the powerhouse Kentucky Wildcats.

Season 2! THE LAST DANCE may be over, but the NBA is scheduled to return and we plan on keeping this thing rolling. In the meantime we watched the 2020 Ben Affleck high school basketball dram THE WAY BACK and talked about it. Spoilers for The Way Back obviously.
