Host Gianna took listeners on a two-hour musical journey through the worlds of post-punk and new wave. The first hour was packed with high-energy 80s vibes, featuring classics from artists like Depeche Mode, Talk Talk, and New Order. As the show progressed, Gianna slowed down the tempo, transitioning into a more laid-back, yet equally atmospheric, second hour. She also took a special request from a listener named "Big Al," playing The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now." The show closed with the Cocteau Twins' "Wax and Wayne," the very song that inspired the show's name.
