On the morning after the Flyers ended the pittsburgh Penguins' season, steve wanted to check in with a couple quick thoughts and a look into what the Pittsburgh media are saying after the series. The Eagles are facing the Washington Commanders tomorrow night, almost 14 years to the day of one of the most epic beatdowns in NFL history that took place between these two teams on a rainy Monday night in Landover, MD. Michael Vick was responsible for 6 total touchdowns and 4 different Eagles recorded touchdown receptions in a record-setting performance. As the podcast nears its one year anniversary, I decided it was a great time to record the LONGEST podcast in this young podcast's history by bring on someone who has lived INSIDE the Philly sports universe for his entire life: my longtime friend and teacher, Mr. Bob Falkenstein. We discussed Philly sports history including The Vet, The Spectrum, our worst and best Philly sports memories and so much more. The Flyers made GOOD news over the Summer for the first time in about a decade. Steve had to check in quickly to share his excitement over the Ivan Provorov trade, plus much more.

Here they come? No, they don't. Or they didn't. Whatever.   After a couple weeks to digest the Sixers' absolutely demoralizing defeat in the Eastern Conference Semifinal, Steve discusses his thoughts on why this was such a terrible defeat based on the history of disappointment this team has put us through over his lifetime. He looks forward to the future and tries to be as positive as possible during this (always) difficult time to be a fan.
