We got one of the best independent christian folk music artists that might just be to authentic to go viral and hit it big!Isaiah William has an amazing voice and some real musical ability...but it's his testimony and heart that comes through in his music. And that could be why the head honchos in the Contemporary Christian Music industry keep rejecting him.Isaiah first caught my eye by posting reels of him reading the "rejection letters" that he received from major music labels. I thought this guy needs some exposure but hopefully he will settle for an appearance on my podcast!Straight outta Indiana, this husband and Worship Music leader is the real deal and further proves my theory that everyone is interesting and has a story to tell.Let me tell ya, Isaiah's story is filled with ups and down, hills and valleys, highs and lows. So stick around and hear his story...it might just encourage ya!If you are new to the podcast, please:-Like/Follow/Subscribe/Share wherever you watch or listen to podcasts.-Follow us on Facebook/Instagram/TikTok for bonus content, reels and merch giveaways.Thank you so much for your support! Please share with someone who may need to hear this today!

Ep. 64 - Light vs. Darkness

It's time to discuss how the assassination of Charlie Kirk and how it impacted me.I found myself really shook up since Charlie and I share many of the same values and both want to show people a Biblical worldview through conversation. Then the simultaneous displays of mourning, revival and callous celebration and mocking of his death...I was deeply conflicted. So I pose the question, how can a human being get so deluded in their thinking to take the life of another innocent person??? We have to stop demonizing everything unless it's actually evil...not just those we disagree with! This episode is building up to next week's episode where we will look at why we believe what we believe...in other words, what makes up our worldview and is it correct???If you enjoy this podcast...Please Like/Follow/Subscribe/Share wherever you listen or watch podcasts.Follow our Facebook/Instagram/Tiktok for bonus content, merch giveaways and teaser reels.Email us you ideas and merch orders: [email protected] you so much for your support!#CharlieKirk

For episode 59 we are going into the hood on the south side of Chicago and talking with the Pastor of New Beginnings Church, Corey Brooks.Pastor Brooks is doing something truly remarkable in his community. Being a Pastor is one thing, but having a vision to change lives for generations to come is another! With the vision to create a state of the art Leadership and Economic Opportunity Center in the heart of his struggling community, Pastor Brooks has garnered national attention. In order to raise the funds needed, he spent 340 nights on a rooftop in Chicago and is now committed to a year long walk across the entire country beginning in September. There are no excuses with this guy. Pastor Brooks founded Project H.O.O.D. to help others get their life straightened out and obtain their destiny of being successful members of their community. Helping people get off the streets and government entitlements is the mission of Project HOOD by providing mentors, education, real community, life skills and resources to get on the right track...and it starts with Christ-like love! You heard it here first, this is one of the most encouraging things happening in our country right now! Ep. 57 - Going down to the River!

I love history and looking at old photos from the 50's and earlier. It's fun to think about what life was like 100 years ago and how people did things so differently than we do today. What would you think if you saw a crowd of people lining the river bank while two people waded into the water? A hundred years ago, I bet most people would have known exactly what was going on!For this episode, we let you behind the curtain of our private life and share a special moment where I baptized my youngest daughter Grace. At 13 years old she fully understands her need for a relationship with Jesus and the forgiveness for sin that He offers for all of us.Except we didn't do this in our church with a nice heated water tank...Grace wanted to go old school and do this in the river in our town in front of family, friends and whoever happened to pass by.As a kid who grew up being able to count the number of times I went to church, I really wanted to explain what Baptism actually is, what it does and what it doesn't do. So if you are confused about the whole practice of Baptism, I will make it real clear, real quick. Ep. 54 "Redemption" - A Tribute to Phil Robertson

As we wrap up our time producing episodes with those in and close to the Robertson family, I wanted to share what has been on my heart since Phil Robertson went home to be with the Lord. Phil made sure to tell everyone he came in contact with about Jesus and their need to have a relationship with Him. Guys like Phil and myself have the evidence of a changed life so we know full well what happens when we say goodbye to our old lives and walk with the Lord.Redemption is what we call being bought with price and being made whole...better than we can ever achieve on our own. Only Jesus makes that makes offer to all of us and can come through with it.So in this episode I wanted to share what Phil Robertson has meant to me in ways of encouragement and wisdom but also focus on the offer for Jesus to redeem anyone who wants it.Towards the end of Phil's life he was very vocal about how the resurrection was "looming large" as he saw the decline of his physical body and our society. But early on, his message was that of a changed life brought about by redeemed by Jesus. You can see Phil's story come to life and watch how it all unfolded as it was recreated in the movie "The Blind."A couple years ago I preached a message on what being redeemed looks like. I always like to show people and give examples of what it looks like when put the principles that are in the Bible, into practice in our own lives. So I got multiple examples of people being completely changed...redeemed:-Alcoholics-Drug dealers-Heathens-People with same sex attraction-People confused about their genderEveryone of them is represented in the message because they were one way...then after a real encounter with Jesus...they were changed...REDEEMED!Enjoy the message! Ep. 48 - How To Engage The Culture

What is Truth??? If there is no God...then truth can quickly turn into whatever we want it to be because we get to determine the standard for everything. Who or what else could there be to tell us anything different. We would all live by what we deem as "my truth."Today, many people believe many different things, so how do we know who is right and who is wrong? You know where I look for answers...UP!!!More importantly, how do we share truth from the word of God with a culture that seems destined to destroy it...and destroy itself in the process? In my second sermon that I ever preached back in October 2020, I discussed the Biblical wisdom that teaches us how to discern what is true and right...and then how to take that message to those around us.It was a crazy time to deliver such a message but it was exactly what God had put on my heart so I shared it as best as I could. Ep. 47- How To Live Life the Right Way

On this episode, we go back to 2020 when a series of events was sent in motion that eventually led to the start of this podcast. When Pastor Ron at First Baptist Church in Dunkerton, IA needed a fill-in preacher...he asked me. So with no prior experience preaching, I delivered a message that centered around the basic principles of Christian living from Romans 12:1-2.You don't have to be a follower of Jesus or even a believer in God to enjoy this podcast, but you can't deny that there are principles in the Bible that if we apply them to our lives, the outcome is far greater and less painful than if we just do things our way. After preaching that message, more opportunities came and I delivered more sermons that I will be sharing on future episodes. I also found my self speaking to young people at youth groups and JH/HS football teams which really ignited my passion to speak to as many people as I can. Then BOOM, the podcast idea came! Please Like/Follow/Subscribe/Share wherever you listen/watch podcasts.Follow our Instagram/Facebook/Tiktok for more reels, pictures and merch giveaways.Tell us what you think of this episode by leaving a comment.Email us your thoughts, ideas and merch orders: [email protected]
