Urban Prep Academies operates two public, charter high schools in the Bronzeville and Englewood communities on the south side of Chicago. The schools serve approximately 300 young men, with Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men—Englewood Campus being the first public, charter high school for boys in the country. Urban Prep alumni have set the bar high for graduates to come, as for 15 consecutive years, 100% of them have been admitted to four year colleges and universities including prestigious institutions like Northwestern University, Morehouse College, University of Illinois–Urbana Champaign, Cornell University, Winston Salem State University, University of Virginia, Cornell University, Fisk University and Princeton University. In addition to these admissions, Urban Prep graduates have received over tens of millions of dollars in grants and scholarships.
