Wibble: Classic Chiptunes Podcast

Wednesday, October 28, 2009, sunteam_paul finished his supper, turned to his computer and typed a brief announcement:"Wibble is a new podcast which covers chip music from the computers and consoles of the 80's and 90's (including Spectrum, C64, PC-Engine, Mega Drive, Arcade, etc.)... Please have a listen and let me know what you think."And so began wibble, successor to PC-Engine City Podcast. After a two year hiatus, Paul was back with a new podcast - a podcast with a much broader scope than its predecessor. For many North American listeners, this was the first exposure to UK's microcomputer scene of the 1980's - their virgin ears had never heard tunes from the Amstrad or Spectrum before. I suspect that some folks were ignorant of the larger C64 and Amiga music scenes as well. Thankfully, wibble provided these cretins with a much-needed education. Enjoy...
