The citizens United Case must be overturned. Church and State must be separate. This attack by the right wing must end. The state republican party was the big loser in the election.

We have been spoiled with Leaders from our area in the State Capital. Next session however, we will not have a voice in a leadership roll. However Central Florida will again have strong voices in the 2015-2016 session.

Again this year we have Constitutional Amendments on the ballot. What do the proposed amendments mean and what will they change? Educate yourself and be ready to make an informed decision this election season.

It's time to start thinking about your votes. The Amendments, Merit retention of The Supreme Court Justices and the policies and candidates to support. Forget the TV commercials for politicians, it's time to think beyond the election to the return of Car salesmen on the tube.

Last time Floridians changed our constitution, we approved amendments 5 and 6 allowing for fairer districts. We have now had our first test with the primary election. You still need good candidates no matter how the district looks.

Your vote is important this year. Look at how many times throughout history a single vote made the difference. It is your duty as an American to vote and to make an informed decision.

Agree or Disagree with the proposal, the proponents of the Sick Leave Initiative met the burden to be on the Ballot in Orange County. Orange county elected officials are duty bound to grant the petitioners the right to be on the ballot.

Orange County is debating adding Paid Time Off for part time employees. This is bad for business. Many employees are part time for seasonal reasons of the employer or lifestyle choices for the employee. To add paid time off would be a burdon for small businesses.

A young South Floridian lost his arm while escaping an alligator. Can he escape the high costs of health care. Florida is number 2 in uncovered families in the nation. Healthcare reform will go a long way to fix this.

The climate change skeptics will have to change their opinions as it becomes evident that climate change is a fact. Time to blame someone for climate change, who will it be.

The recent congressional race showed the voters can tell the difference between attacks and alternatives. Sandy Adams could not show an alternative for the voters, instead she relied on attacking her opponent.

Who should get the Credit for new unemployment numbers in the state. Love him or hate him, Rick Scott deserves credit for creating jobs in the State.

Is it a debate or is it fight club? The Florida presidential debate makes for entertaining televison but it is not very presidential in nature. Insults, fights, personal attacks. What candidate should you vote for?.

It's time to get tough on bullying and hazing. Bullying and Hazing is something no child should ever be subject to.

Florida needs to collect Sales Tax on Online purchases. The state needs to bring back to Florida the millions of dollars in Sales Tax paid to online retailers.

The Republican primary process has failed the strongest candidates. The Presidential primary process has once again turned into a farce with the candidates who offer the best for the future of the country being overlooked.

With the commuter rail service coming soon, we should thank those who made it possible. Many local political leaders took great risks to bring SunRail to Central Florida. They need to be applauded.

The Florida Legislature needs to get rid of term limits. Members of The Florida Legislature spend time hustling for the Speaker's job instead of going about the business of working for Florida. It's a consequence of term limits. That needs to change.

Should public dollars be used as an incentive to create jobs in Florida? Reducing the unemployment numbers is important. Giving public funds to employers to keep jobs in the state and create new ones is a good use of taxpayer's funds.

Florida should be able to vote first in the primaries. The moving Target of Primary election dates should end. Who represents America better, small states who vote early or a big one like Florida. We should have a bigger say in who the candidate is.

Many punishments in Florida do not fit the crime. The Governor wants to save the state some money. Look at the prison system. Many inmates are in prison when they can better serve the community out of prison and getting back to work.

Destination Casino Resorts may come to Florida. Is it a good bet? Resort Casino executives claim that by expanding Gambling in the state, we will add jobs and improve the economy. Or will it just drive other hotels and resorts out of business?

With the Hurricane season ending, it's time to look at fixing Citizens Insurance We may not have sustained damage this Hurricane season but we all one day will with the underfunding of the state run Citizens Insurance unless the legislature fixes the program soon.

Restore taxes on the wealthy to Clinton and Regan era levels as a balanced approach to deficit reduction. Compromise is needed in the Republican Party to raise taxes on the richest Americans as a balanced approach to tackle the deficit.

A good way to get Floridians back to work is through the Privatization of Government run programs like prisons. Trying to privatize the entire prison system in Florida is facing some setbacks. One way to create more jobs in the state is by taking the work release and placement program private.

Regulations do not help the economy. To regulate or deregulate. Regulation does not work. It does not help the economy, unemployment or business growth.

Forget the political battle on the Federal Level, we have a big battle looming in Florida Every 10 years the political districts are redrawn. What does that mean for current office holders and potential candidates.

To run or not to run, that is the question. With the recent delay of Candidates entering the Republican race, the question arises who does this serve? Not the American public. Either get in or get out, just decide and let's get on with the race.
