First of all, we had some technical issues and the end of the episode got cut off. So, I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for listening and letting us be a part of your football season. This has been a lot of fun all year, and I think I speak for all three of us when I say we did not want this season to end. But end it must, and before it does, we present to you the Superest preview of all the previews. Props, sides, totals, even a little novelty bets. Conference Championship week is upon us and finally we have all three of the boys back together. The Captain has returned from sailing the 7 seas (ok, maybe just 2) and finds that one of the games is all NFC West. His Nemsis. Nips and Bob chime in and try to keep the conversation on track. A task that seems impossible this week. Listen in and ENJOY!

And then there were 8 left standing. With the Captain still sailing somewhere in the Carribbean, Bob and Nips tackle the divisional weekend after a ridiculously amazing Wild Card weekend. With Nate indisposed again, Bob and Nips take on week 16 and the CFP minus the Captain. First they look back at what was a rough week for Nate and Nips in week 15, but Bob had his 2 picks go 2-0 and the collaborative teaser won again to go 11-4 on the season!! Don't miss this week and ENJOY!

The Captain was licking his wounds this week aka "entertaining his family" so Bob and Nips tackle this week by themselves. After a little post Buckeye loss meu culpa Nips carries the pod for a few minutes as Bob has some technical issues. Sorry about that. I'm sure what he said was great, and I will get to hear it just like you when I listen to the pod. ENJOY!

The crew recorded their usual hour or so highlighting the week to come in the NFL and Nate's Cat-tastic Christmas sweater and then the Buckeyes and the B1G Title game got them rolling and things took on a life of their own for the last half hour. The best things in life are often unscripted and this is no exception. Ok, there isn't much "special" about the episode, it's the same show we have been doing. Only on Thanksgiving. Which makes it special. Nate expresses his love for all things Jameis Winston. Nips hedges his picks by saying it's too early in the week to make them, and the host tries to keep it all together and running in the same direction. Week 12 is upon us in the NFL and apparently that is when the Captain goes full get off my lawn curmudgeon. Nate has several can't miss rants this week. In between we talk Yards per Play, which confuses him even more, our top picks for week 12 NFL action and our vaunted teaser of the week. You do NOT want to miss this episode. Welcome to week 11. As a bonus this week, the Captain double as Mr. Manners and rants about what you should do if your pizza isn't ready in the drive through. As a slight spoiler alert the answer is not "Sit there and wait at the window." In between this riveting conversation we do discuss the coming games this week and there is a lot of disagreement this week, which always makes it more interesting. I hope you agree. ENJOY!

Maybe it's to clear his mind. Maybe because he's had a rough couple of weeks picking, but Nate "The Captain" REALLY wants kickers to make more money. Or have an easier job. I never thought I would spend ten minutes of a podcast talking about kickers but here we are. Sprinkled in between kicker rants and bad puns get on board the pick train for all your week 10 action.

Part of betting and picking games is sometimes, every now and then, you will lose and have a bad week. That was this pod last week. Favorites won huge and often last week. And that did not jibe with our picks. Sadly for the N&N crew (I just made that up now, they will love it), the Bengals were one of the 2 favorites that did not cover. That leads to a nice rant in the middle of the episode. Enjoy this week!

Week 8 is upon us and oh what a week 7 the captain had. Listen to him not so humble brag about how brilliant he is. It's almost like you get to see what life is like as a friend of his all the time. He does enthrall us with a humorous story involving Steeler Shoes and a ride to the Bengals game. Along the way we break down the week 8 games and pick our teaser of the week which is now... 5-2. Our weekly teaser got back on the winning track last week so we were too excited to wait until Thursday to record. OK, the Captain is going to the Bengals' game tonight, so we recorded Wednesday night. Lots of devil advocates in this week's episode. That usually makes for some big winners. And even bigger losers. Tune in to find out which is which! PG-13 warning for idiotic innuendo and some fruity language.

Fresh off of last week's rant about players that drop the ball before they get in the end zone we had... another one drop the ball before they got in the end zone. And man does that make the Captain mad. After that we dive into week 6 picks and laugh as Nips and the Captain agree on... very little. Don't miss this week's episode!!

Welcome to week 4 and do we have a treat for you! The Captain misses most of the week traveling on vacation but he calls in from the airport with a great surprise drop-in. Week 3 already. Where does time go? The Captain, fresh from a fashion show, and Nate P hiding out in his basement join me for a quick recap of week 2 and going over our best picks for this coming weekend. Can we hit another teaser? Can I get more than one right of my top 5? Who knows? But listen up and you might just learn what to do, or not.

I know, I know. You were like "Where are those guys that don't know anything about football? I miss them." Well we are back. A week late due to your host being ill and we had to replace Jon who got tired of being right all the time so he hung up his picker this year. But we have Nate Parsons to replace him who, once he comes out of his shell, and I get his name right, he will be awesome. So welcome to season three, Nips, the Captain and me!

Here it is... the last NFL pod of the season. The Super Bowl of episodes. About...the Super Bowl. It takes them a while to get there, but Bob, Jon and Nate give their thoughts on the game, explore the Chiefs seemingly favorable treatment by officials over the last 8 years and some prop bets to keep an eye on for the big game this weekend. 3 games left in the NFL season. And two of them are Sunday. Nate is out cruising the Caribbean while the rest of us freeze our tails off, so Jon and Bob tackle this week without the captain. Although he is not the captain of the cruise ship. Bob and Jon recap the Ohio State national championship game Monday night and discuss how ill equipped the South is for the current cold spell. Following that thrilling conversation they recap the divisional round and this week Bob gets to go on a couple rants about the treatment Goff is getting in the press and how to tackle Mahomes. Finally they get to the games this weekend and you will not be disappointed (that's not a guarantee). Stay warm and ENJOY!

After an underwhelming wildcard weekend, the boys are back to take care of the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, some bonus CFP Championship game predictions and we all laugh at Nate's inability to read a calendar or a weather report. Jon almost goes another week without a Browns rant, but Nate set the bait, and Jon took it. Week 10! Jon licks his wounds after a historically bad week of picks for him and looks to come back in a week with a lot of road favorites. Which has been... weird this year. Join us as we break down the week and revel in some unseasonably warm weather.

Trick or Treat and welcome to week 9. The Captain was going to join us but he has been delayed, although he did get his picks in. Such as they are. We spend a couple minutes gloating over a decent week 8 performance, rehash the insane Hail Mary that ended the Commanders game and then dive into some week 9 picks that were not easy to make. Jon discusses the difference in Candy bar flavors of today and yesteryear and the bounce house filled neighborhood festival that has become the new trick or treat. And then we make our week 9 picks. Jon starts off week 8 by basically admitting that his daughter is tougher than him. The guys then recap what was actually a pretty good week 7 before diving into another week of trying to pick with multiple double digit lines and 8 more home underdogs in action this week. Thanks for coming by!

What a week. Bob and Jon recap a crazy week 6 where only one underdog even covered. Jon buries his Browns fandom for the time being... but puts them in his top 5. He then makes fun of 10 year olds and their parents who don't know how to roast a marshmallow. Eventually the guys talk about week 7 football.
