I mean, there's this special kind of joy one would feel when they're able to whip up something quick for themselves and their loved ones, and that's exactly how I've felt all this while, even though I've been too lazy to learn from my sister who's a baker. Anyway, this video has been sitting in my drafts since the beginning of this month, and I initially did not plan to publish it here. My intention with this video was to test out my camera at night with artificial lighting and also explore different filming angles while I baked. Thankfully, @bipolar95 randomly put the idea in my head when I mentioned what was keeping me up at night, and that's why you're seeing this as an entry for the Neoxian City Talent Hunt for the month of March. In the video above, I showed the step by step process of baking a vanilla flavoured banana bread with oroes toppings. Anybody can use this recipe as it's easy to follow and the ingredients are really affordable. I think the most surprising thing about this banana bread is the fact that it turned out really nice for a first trial, and I'm so impressed with what my hands could do. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=yechee/8db79a46 It's officially my first time entering the Neoxian City Talent Hunt, and I'm so excited because I almost put down the idea yesterday after meeting several roadblocks. But I didn't, and that's why you're seeing my post! I'd considered a couple of talents to showcase this month, from singing, dancing, to spoken word. But I realized I had to pick something I was comfortable showing off for the first time, which was why I ended up with a digital illustration. The video above shows the process of illustrating a cartoon character I named Tom, and the most interesting thing about it, is the fact that I didn't use a professional tool to do it. I used an application primarily made for the common types of graphic design we all know, so this made it tougher to illustrate. Because of this reason, nobody expects a near perfect illustration. So, if anything, I'm impressed I could work this out. As someone who grew up watching CN & Kidsco, coming up with this character look wasn't a chore of any sort. It was, in fact, the easiest part of the whole process. This is the end result and I hope you like it!🥰 @onyinye-chi @hopestylist I'd really love to see your entries soon before the deadline.
