    Episode 5: The physical and psychological benefits of weight training.

    In this episode, Dr Wendy Clochet, Chartered Counselling Psychologist talks to Chris Morris, Personal Trainer, about the benefits and importance of weight trainer for both physical and psychological well-being.     Dr Wendy talks briefly about the origin of the word emotion, how emotions arise, how we learn to manage emotions, how we manage emotions in a healthy way. Emotions can become incredibly overwhelming too so if you are in distress you can ring your local CRISIS service, 111, you can attend A&E if you are unable to keep yourself safe and you can also ring the Samaritans on 116 123.

    Episode 3: Mindfulness tips for every day life

    In this third episode of the Your Colourful Self Podcast Dr Wendy talks about mindfulness and how we can incorporate it into our day to day life. She also shares quotes from Martin Aylward's book and a poem by Jess Foster. The aim is to make Mindfulness as accessible as possible because it truly is a life changing practice.     This is a brief 15 minutes episode on self care. In this episode Dr Wendy discusses what we mean by self care and some of the basic building blocks of self care. Krissi is passionate about mental health and has recently embarked on a coaching career.
