Your Unique Genius: Purpose and Creativity

This Episode: Humans are compelled to create, and this compulsion is really the expression of each of our own innate creator energy. Sometimes we can get caught up in the output of that creative impulse/inspiration and forget to allow the space to just sit with the muse itself—without trying to capture it or make something of it. So, yes, this episode consists of my musings on the muse. About the Show: Creativity is not only the catalyst and expression of purpose, but the reason we are all here. It is both the exploration of and the answer to our inner struggles, a connection point (to self and other people), a shared experience, a celebration (sometimes lamentation) of existence—it is the motivator and the source of a life lived fully. It is both a private and a social practice. Creativity allows for sensemaking, expression, and release, for evoking and transmuting all manner of emotion. And each one of us has a Unique Genius which is expressed through our creative endeavours whether they be painting, gardening, piling wood just the right way, or rebuilding a car. It has been my life’s work to provoke the uncovering and expression of the Unique Genius of the people in my personal life and in my work.
