THIS was a welcomed walk down memory lane...one of the reasons a lot of our college experience was incredible as because of this group, and today we have the ringleader of it all, Scott Merzlicker.He is the Scooter of SCR (I'll explain later....) and while they didn't put him in the Marian Hall of Fame for just that, I'm told the record books said he was a so so soccer player (and tennis player, apparently, what an over-achiever).Truth is Scott is arguably the great athlete in Marian University history (he's no Crusher, but who is) with the numbers to match. He's also an insane golfer, tennis player and played football??? (again, over-achiever).More importantly this Marian Hall of Famer is an amazing dad, a great dude, and part of group of guys who made college great on and off the field and we're happy to have him on podcast.

Had the honor of talking to a basketball legend....Fondy's own Drake Diener, the head coach of marian University men's basketball teamI've been following Drake's career since he was in high school, even at DePaul (including on video games, lol) and overseas....everyone knows the Dieners and their basketball legacy. Well, Drake was the man! He was the man at Goodrich, the man for the Blue Demons, the man overseas (he was an MVP) and now he's THE man for the Sabres, inclding the new assistant AD.
