This week I'm joined by Jeff Bakalar, aka Jerf, the CEO of Giant Bomb who has recommended to me HACKERS, the 1995 computer-themed cult hit starring Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie. We discuss a year of Giant Bomb indepdence, the stagnation of tech and a return to single-purpose devices, watching YouTube instead of regular television and of course, tuck into the main course of cyberdelic nostalgia.

Episode 6 - Mike Drucker (Hundreds of Beavers)
This week I had the pleasure of being joined by Emmy-nominated writer and comedian Mike Drucker as wel discussed, well, a lot of it was about video games!From building houses in Pokopia to Mike's autobiography of a life in video games "Good Game, No Rematch" and chats about Project Hail Mary, video game art books and more, we then get into the main event - the 2022 homage to silent movies (and Looney Tunes), Hudreds of Beavers. This week also sees the debut of a theme tune created by the amazingly talented booradleyboo - you can find his work at https://www.youtube.com/@booradleyboo. I need a better intro to fully show it off!One change you might notice from this episode is that I'm no longer embedding clips of the film - just to stay on the right side of Youtube's content systems!
