He wishes God would hide him in the grave until his anger passes. Job 15: Eliphaz begins his second speech, rebuking Job for his complaints. He argues that Job's words show a lack of wisdom and accuses him of arrogance and wickedness, claiming that the suffering of the wicked is inevitable. Job 16: Job responds by calling his friends "miserable comforters" who only add to his pain. He expresses deep anguish over God's harsh treatment but maintains his innocence.
